  • What cut of meat to make jerkey out of?

I recently purchased a brinkman smoker and it has turned some great food this summer. So I decided to try and make some jerkey before it gets to cold to cook out. So I was wondering what cut of beef and pork would be good for jerkey? I also thought of chicken breast too, would that make good jerkey? I already have my own seasoning so that's not a problem. Any other tips would also be appreciated.

  • How to keep seasonig from sticking together?

I've put together a meat seasoning out of brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and chilie powder and its wonderful on chicken. But the bad part is The brown sugar kinda makes it clump together and makes it hard to sprinkle it on whatever im seasoning. So is there a way I can stop this from happening?

  • What is ur opinion of the m&p 22 pistol?

Im looking to buy a .22 pistol and I've looked at the m&p .22 and I kinda like it because I already have the 40 caliber version so the 22 only makes sense. Plus I think it would be exelent for plinking around along with my 10/22. So does anybody own one? What do u think of it?

  • You thoughts on the ruger SR22 pistol?

Im looking to buy a .22 pistol. Along with my 10/22 I think it would be nice for plinking around with and be a nice addition to my collection. So anyway is the sr22 a good gun or should I just go with the tried and tested MKIII? Also im left handed which is the only reason why im considering the sr22.

  • What is a good grouping for a .22 lr?

Im trying to get the most out of my 10/22 and am trying to figure out what a good grouping is. Anyway im using a mostly unmodified Ruger 10/22. Its got an after market stock, bipod and 4x16 scope on it but other than that the guts are all the same. I can usually get groupings of between 1.5 and 2 inches at 50 yards. So is that good? If not what should it be? And what should it be at a distance of let's say 100 yards?

  • Are center point scopes ane good?

Im looking to get the most out if my Ruger 10/22 and the barska 4x32 scope I have on it just doesn't cut it. So I was at walmart and I saw a center point scope 4-16x40 with ilimunated mildots. I want to get tighter groups at 100 yards and possibly hunting a few poor defenseless bunnys with it. So does anybody have experience with this scope? Is it clear and durable? If not what would be a better option? I want at least a 4-16 and have a budget of $100 so don't suggest something to crazy.

I don't want to catch a disease by eating uncooked game meat so is it safe to eat rabbit jerkey? And can I make it in a toaster oven if I set the temp as low as it goes? Cuz I don't have a dehydrator and I don't want to buy one.

  • Your thought of the ruger blackhawk?

im thinking of getting a ruger blackhawk for home defense in either .357 magnum or .45 colt. i have a simiautomatic already but i dont keep it chmbered for reason of the lack of a manual safety. so i want a single action revolver so i can cock it with one hand and a single action eliminates the risk of the triger being pulled by accident. so down to the questions. what do u think of it? whats ur caaliber preference? .357 mag or .45 colt? for what reasons? what do u use it for?
