Looking to buy a used Volvo from those years in general. Love the XC90, but I might be short on cash for that model (yes I'm very broke). May opt for a GM until I have more money (love GM, love Volvo too). Was wondering would I be shocked at the cost of parts (labor is free, cuz it's me). Any parts. In general, a quick scan on Advance Auto doesn't suggest anything startling.

The 80 something models, 240dl etc., weren't that leggy. I'm 6'4". I hopped in one years ago (my sister's or a used one I was looking at), and felt cramped. Are the 90s and 2000's better in that regard? A lot of tall swedes I thought.

this seems to be the message in Hebrews ("Come boldly to the throne..."). Aren't way, way, way too many Christians weak and ultimately of no use to the advancement of the Kingdom of God? Can you talk about your actual experiences in going from a lower state of grace to a higher one? Don't give any of that eternal security bunk, or simply say we have all the grace we need. We're required to grow in the faith, the very clear message in the bible.

Let's say a child does exhibit an attraction for people of the same sex at an early age. I know a guy, this is a true story, who isn't gave but is OBSESSED with oral-anal contact, even pays asian masseuses 50-100$ to allow him to do his thing. And this involves chewing. He and a girl went downstairs in the alley when they were 4-5 and licked each other's cracks. Didn't like the taste so went upstairs and found some candy. He's now in his 50s still going strong w/his particular aberrant obsession.

My guess is something goes wrong in a person's development, and aberrant sexual traits, including homosexuality, exhibit at very young ages oftentimes. But none of it's normal. And no one gets a pass saying "I was born this way". These bad behaviors need to be dealt with. When people live out these sick desires, disease often is a result.

Why should there be increasing acceptance of sick desires???

This is a project I've been slowly mulling over in my head for a year or more. Say you transport animals from time to time, or just don't like hot cars! Sure you can take rudimentary steps, window shades, etc. (that in itself require careful thought to be most effective). But what if you wanted to go further and insure the safety/comfort of a living being (even human on occasion). Solar cells could be mounted all over the roof. But would that amount of surface area be enough to generate the needed power to operate a small air conditioner? I doubt it, at least presently.

Regardless this would HAVE to be accompanied w/some sort of alerting system (that say texted you if the cabin started to heat up), w/multiple sensors.

I don't often here or see it mentioned. But some say it is important. Is it something that can be done by hand if you're just replacing one lifter? Is this purely a European thing, a consequence of there being less commerce and frankly hard work in European nations? I won't bake a gay cake. I'm uncomfortable and won't support gay unions of any sort. The government doesn't have the right to tell anyone, nor should people be sued based on their moral decisions. Homosexuality is not normal, gays ARE NOT BORN GAY, no one is _born_ w/any sort of sexuality (but see below). It's not discrimination, it's a basic human right to say what I do and don't want to support (well actually it is discrimination, but that's not always a bad thing. If I don't want to data a gay man, is that "bad" discrimination also? No, I'm just normal).

Gays have unnatural, obsessive compulsions, and that could happen as a result of any number of things. No one is born gay, and even if it were the case, it needs to be deemed a defect. It is something that can and should be overcome. The leftist maniacs who despise freedom in general and religious freedom especially should not be driving the agenda. NEITHER SHOULD THE CORPORATIONS. Don't listen to these fools on the radio or tv. They just want business to continue as usual, regardless of who's hurt by it. My head may not be shot (yet), but UIM gasket is for sure. It's so cold, not sure I want to tackle this until spring (an official righteous fix that is).

IOW it's brand new, just that I want to try K & W block seal (not sure I have a head gasket problem, but an lower intake gasket problem for sure). I already have the older orange can that doesn't mix w/antifreeze, may as well use that I figure. I could just buy new antifreeze, but I prefer not to waste it.

It's too cold to do intake gasket, head gasket, whatever else could be wrong in February. Got to try the sealant stuff until weather is warmer. Got a rapping/clacking sound from, I think, top of engine. Got to get good oil running through it, but need to seal the leaks first (hopefully).
