I am big time Ebay, Small time Amazon. Bought turbo tax 3 weeks ago. Seller gave me a tracking number that shows not even in transit yet. I wrote seller and got an automatic message from Amazon seller no longer with them. Now ebay is easy to get my money back, how about Amazon ? I wrote Amazon, no answer yet. Found no Amazon forums either. My question is, can I get a refund and how ?

I need to title a car, the Michigan Secretary of State office phone is always busy. The car loan was paid, I have a copy not origional pay off letter. Will they accept it ? I know when it comes to getting a drivers license or Michigan they will NOT accept copies / faxed documents.

Here is my mystery. Drivers headlight not working. Wiring harness had about 10 wires going into it. I found if i put positive and negative to the blue and orange I had light.

So, I guessed right and picked orange first.

In the End I fixed it buy eliminating the rewiring about 4 feet of orange wire.

The diagnostics still bugs me. It is all good and fine now, but why did I experience this ...

Before replacing the 4' of orange, I went from the headlights orange wire straight to the positive on the battery and got nothing. I then touched it to the negative and got nothing. I can not grasp how it only worked connected to the orange. I am thinking the orange must be a ground. Blue was hot.

My tenant said after 2 loads it quits. They unplug for a couple hours and can do another load. I was there when it quit... I pushed the starter button and it the drum turned about a quarter turn then quit. I hit the starter and thing then the light went off so I could not test again.

I am thinking there is a heat sensor. But one trouble shooter said gas valve. I cant imagine its an Ignitor ..but if I was good as diagnostics I would not be on this forum.

Side Note. I have owned these old Maytags for 3 Decades, they are the most reliable machines in the world for my money.

I have a dragging brake on a 1996 Civic. I replaced the rotors , pads, hoses, calipers.

this is a new caliper and when I installed the new rotors and pads and had to retract the piston, the piston would not move, I had to crack the bleeder valve. what can be causing the pressure ?

The car can go 5- 10 miles before the brake starts sticking..and sticking bad.

Have a new motorcycle Battery. Instructions are after adding acid , let sit then charge for an hour at one amp.

My charger is a 2Amp with a 12V / 6V toggle. Would 6V at two amp charge it at a lower rate then 12V 2 amp ? I can grasp DC and AV and Amps, but not volts so much.

I have an ATT Samsung Rugby cell phone. I get more wrong numbers then calls that are for me. So when I get them I hit options ..then (7) add to reject list. But now, I get a message reject list is full. I cannot figure out how to find my reject list to look at it and delete some if I have to. I have a Tub Drain leak. It appears the drain goes into a brass piece called a shoe with a brass 1 1/2 inch pipe coming out. I tried marine silicone, roof tar, magic tape. I bought new PVC parts to replace it.

everything is 40 years old. The replacement is pipe and shoe in once piece. My question is, on the old brass show and pipe, how are they connected ? pressed ? I see no threads, no solder. I am wondering what failed.

I read plenty about a 12V battery charger with over charge and ruin a 6V battery. I also read a 6V battery charger should not be used on a 12V battery. What would it hurt ?

I am a landlord. I have one building with 4 apartments.

A was mad at B because B kept asking them to be quiet after midnight. So A calls the police and tells them B is selling drugs. The police covered both doors and the big 42 year old double pane picture window then went into attack mode breaking locks, knobs, door casings. B reported they found 1/2 ounce of marijuana. I have $5,000.00 deductable. The damage is about $1000. My question is, why would the police break my big no escape window ? There were 2 smaller less expensive ones to the left and right. I can only imagine one officer saying to the other, "The law is on our side, hey ya'll watch this" ! ! I am the victim here. I suspect there is nothing I can do. Anyone know any recourse ? ( Tenant(s) have -0- money ).

My Wife car was hit today at Wal-Mart. No note, nothing.

We have $500 deductable collision and $100 deductable Comprehensive.

My co workers all say its the Comprehensive deductable, my Agents' assistant said its $500.00 to us.

It started with multi viruses on one on my Dell inspirons. So I had a spare hard drive, then that became infect with the redirect virus and some fake windows anti virus 2010 program. Then it wouldnt even boot. no re-install would work. So I took my work computer home and after a few hours my Avast said Virus, instantly another window opened looking like a fgake microsoft window cleaner, it would not delete with alt control delete or anything, I tured off the computer and not this one is shot. I ran the system check dick once , ok, tried again it it wouldnt boot to that, nor with the windows re-installation disk. In addition my daughter said Her Apple acts up a lot in our house. Can Comcast's DSL modem have a virus that destroyed 3 hard drives and 2 Dell inspiron motherboards ? I am typing at my office at 1 am to find a cure. Its been a bad week.

USTA rules for flipping over the game or set score in tennis.

Im just a 3.0 player and we keep track of our own scores.

I was flipping it over every game, I was told the rule is flip on change over only.( odd games ).

That takes more memory. Which is it ? a link to the USTA rule would ge excellent, I cannot find it.

My pals wipers didnt work well., We would tap the wiper motor and it would work. Then we shimmed it with wood and it worked, Then it quit. So Today I installed a new rebuilt , we turned it on and the wipers did not move but the windshild washer sprayed consistantly. We plugged in the old motor, nothing worked. Pluged in the new motor and again, it didnt work but the washer motor constantly ran. Anyone ever heard of this ?

I bought a used 1997 DR350SE ( thumper ) the petcock has 2 males sticking out of it.

One has the hose that goes to the carb. I have no idea what the other one is for. I have the factory manual , can not find a diagram, or a good photo on the whole WWW.

I have a DR350SE , Suspecting a slightly bent rim,,, i took the wheel and tire off the bike, then all the spokes off the rim,,. When I lay the rim on a table one side is 1/2 inch higher then the other. Whats the best way to bend bang bounce it back ?

my wifes 05 Equinox is DANGEROUS. It wont stop well on dry pavement. She has paid $300 to replace brake speed sensor for the 3rd time. It is acting up again. $80 just for a diagnos from Government Motors. My question is, Can I just disable the ABS ? And How ?

We drove 35 years without ABS, we can live without the complexity.

My Acura and Mercedes had on and off buttons. Dont see a switch on this Government Motors Truck.

motorcycle fell on its right side. The starter button does nothing. When I jump the solenoid the starter will turn over just fine. The side stand kill switch seems ok. The neutral seems right on. Ive tried it with the clutch in and out. with the side stand up and down. Ive turned the kill switch on and off a bunch of times. I took off the seat and side panels and checked all connections. There is too many safety features for me. Something wont let the starter button work. Need a trouble shooter smarter than myself.

yesterday I bought this dual sport with 8 spokes missing on the front wheel.

I am too cheap to pay $40 for a whole set at the dealer. its a 21" front wheel. there are some NOS spokes on Ebay 194 M/M X 84.5S for a 21 inch front wheel. Just wondering how universal spokes are and how I would find my size.
