So now I have this huge crush on him, and around 2 weeks ago I was like "I'm gonna bite the bullet and ask him who he likes!" So I sort of segwayed (if that's a word) into the topic while we were passing notes, and I asked him. He wrote this: "The person I like is" then just sat there for maybe 5 minutes. Then finally he wrote down a name and handed it to me. It wasn't me. Needless to say I was disappointed. But I didn't exactly give up. This past week, my friend I usually sit next to in class was gone so I sat by him. We took a test on the computers once and when we were done we went inside and hung out. We both like to draw so we drew all over the backboards and talked. He's kind of a dork, and so am I, so we had conversations like whether Squirtle or Charmander was better (Charmander all the way!!) or whether Spiderman or Batman was better, Xbox vs PS3. We talked about Batman: Arkham City and Harry Potter Puppet Pals, Llamas in Hats, and Charlie the Unicorn. I think he was surprised I knew so much. I kept acting embarassed that I knew all this, and blamed it on having older brothers. He laughed and said "Don't worry, I'm a bigger dork than you'll ever be" and we both laughed. The next time we were in class my friend was gone again so we sat next to each other again. We were both really bored cause all we were doing was checking out homework. He has a fancy graphing calculator that you can type messages on. So in class he takes his calculator and types a message on it. Then he deletes it and types another message on it. Then he deletes that on and types "hello" then passes it to me. We talked using the calculator the whole rest of class.

So, does he like me or is he just being friendly? Any tips for getting him to like me? What should I do now?

Ok, so this is gonna be a little long. Basically, I met this girl (we'll call her emma) last year in 7th grade, and we became really good friends cause we had so many classes together. Well about halfway through seventh grade I started crushing on her. She's a touchier girl (hugs you, grabs your arm, plays with your hair, nothing intimate, she does it with everyone) and that's part of the reason I started liking her, because I thought she might be bi since she's so touchy. Fast forward to now. We're both in 8th grade. We don't have any classes together, and we're still good friends but not quite as close as last year. I've told her I'm bisexual and she's fine with it. But I still have a crush on her. In fact, I love her. Yes, I know, I'm in middle school. You can't be in love. But LITERALLY she's all I think about. Her touch sends electricity through me, and when she's hurting I want to kill whatever is hurting her. Sure, she's not perfect. No one is. But I love the way she accepts her flaws, and how they make her who she is. She's amazing in my mind, and I love her so much. Here's the problem: she doesn't like me that way. She's a really good friend, but I am 99.999999% sure she doesn't like me, because she is way closer to another girl, we'll call her Ashley, than me cause they've been friends longer. She'd choose Ashley over me to be partners with, sit next to, etc. So here's the question: How do I get over her? So my best friends birthday is coming up, and I want to do something really special for her. I'm a 13 year old girl in 8th grade. I'm positive that I'm either bisexual or lesbian. I've had tons of crushes on girls before especially in 7th grade and not as many on guys, but I do still occasionally get crushes on guys. Right now I have a huge crush on one of my best friends. I really want to come out as bisexual to my friends because I feel like there's a huge weight on my shoulders and if I told them it would help.
