Recently when I opened the Maps app, I noticed my VERY old address listed. I haven't lived there since 1989. I know I've not typed that ancient address into the phone, so how is it listed as a suggestion????

Many TV station promoters and even the actors are always very vocal to 'be sure to watch live' which of course is because that is what matters most to the ratings, the +3 and +6 and +30 markets matter, but not as much.

Thing is, don't they still use Nielsen? So, since I am not a Nielsen family, don't they not have any idea what I am watching because nobody is telling them, or do the cable companies now gather and report all that data too?

My very first memory, strange as it sounds, I was 3 years old an I was trying to remember. It was like that was the point where I gained comprehension of memory, and realized I didn't have any memories yet.

For example, it's well documented that Lionsgate did very little promotion of Repo! the Genetic Opera and left promotion to Bousman and Zdunich. While it's a modern cult classic, it was a box office failure. But, with no promotion, could it have been anything else? IF they had promoted it, could it have been a blockbuster? As a fan of the movie I'd like to think so, but we'll never truly know of course, but that's the reason for the question...

HuluPlus and Amazon instant video all have shows that are "exclusives" but... how are they when they are shows that originally were aired on television and that I can purchase on iTunes? Some actual examples. HuluPlus has the show Misfits and Pramface and many others. Hulu Exclusive. But how when these are British shows that were on BBC (and Misfits at least is on iTunes)... so how is it exclusive? Now HuluPlus has the latest Doctor Who episodes that are exclusive... but hey they are on iTunes. The show Defiance is advertised as being exclusive to Amazon Instant Video... yet it's on iTunes. The only site with ACTUAL exclusives seems to be Netflix's original shows, which while they do LATER release them on DVD, that's still them doing it, the show is still something they created (funding wise), not something they are claiming to be "exclusive" when they aren't...

However, we are sick of random people we don't know messaging us! So, we need one where we can "add" each other to our approved list (or delete each other too!) and then if you aren't on our approved list, you don't send us messages. Period.

So, any suggestions?

When I verify my card with iTunes, they put a $0.00 charge on my card. It's valid. Their system says thank you and allows me to make iTunes purchases. A few other companies do this too. However, most still charge $1.00. Which, makes no sense to me. Why do they still charge a dollar when obviously from Apple that a $0.00 charge does the job? I realize a dollar isn't that big of a deal, but if you do multiple transactions on the same day with multiple merchants, then it can start to add up.

So, why do any of them still charge a dollar? If I only have 43 cents the bigger charge is going to get denied anyway so why does it matter if I have a dollar?

I've read many "official" video game strategy guides that are full of mistakes and such. For example, the Dragon Age II strategy guide strongly suggests taking the character Sebastian with you on the Night Terrors quest. However, that's not possible. So, who's to blame when a strategy guide is full of errors? Should I blame the publisher of the game because they gave them old information, or the publisher of the book for some reason?

When I was growing up, there was a show called "My Two Dads" about a girl who's mom had drunk sex with two men one night, and got pregnant. As she was born in the 70's before paternity tests were possible, what would her birth certificate have said?

I know nowadays they are considering allowing more than two parents due to gay/lesbian couples, and that made me curious what they did in the past before paternity tests were possible?

How many GB is a typical DVR Hard drive? 20GB? LOL I ask because I purchase shows in full 1080HD from iTunes and my external drive is nowhere near capacity... so how big is a DVR that it can' barely hold an entire season of a show in HD? If they want people to use them, why not give them bigger drives (though maybe Direct TV is thinking that now with their new "Genie" DVRs?)

I keep my iTunes files (music and video) on an external USB 3.0 hard drive and most of the time, it works great. But, every once in awhile, the picture will freeze and the audio continues, then the video fast forwards to catch up to the audio. As I said, most of the time it works just fine... but this lag problem occurs every other day, then not for a week, just whenever. Actually have watched 3 seasons of Sons of Anarchy just fine, now tonight it's lagging... Any idea what's causing it and what I can do to fix it? I've made sure nothing else is running on my computer to take up my RAM.

I'm working on a story involving some "loan shark"type characters and all I really know about them (or want to in the sense of I'd never actually take out a loan with one myself) is from movies where they break a guy's legs a few times, then eventually he pays them back. But what if he doesn't? The threat that the loan shark will kill you is always there, but if you are dead... you definitely won't be paying the debt... so... crazy as the question is, at what point does a loan shark just take the financial loss and make an example of a person?

For years, I don't know how long really, our (America) Congress has had a tactic of lumping unrelated bills together. Sure, maybe it saves time, but it's done in such a way that sometimes even if a representative or senator wants to pass one part of the bill, they do NOT want to pass the other bill that has been tacked on, so they fail it or vice versa. Then, sometimes they get a reputation as having opposed a bill that they would have supported, or again vice versa?

Is there just not enough people out there that understand that our government does this, or do they think it's ok?

I'm wondering when a solider dies or is killed, how much rights does his/her non-solider husband/wife/kids who lived on base retain? Are they still allowed to live on the base, or do they have to move? I know there is various widow(er) benefits (like insurance and such), but I'm wondering if and how long they are able to remain on base should they choose to.

I've been watching a lot of cooking competition shows lately (Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef) and there is something that lately has confused me. Now, first of all I am not big into "fine dining" and maybe that's the problem For me, a steakhouse is a place like Black Angus or Outback. All of these places you order a steak and they ask you how you want it cooked. So, then is this not done at the "fine dining" restaurants where a steak is $40 instead of $15? I happen to like my steak medium to medium well, and my mother would rather have it burnt than see pink in her steak. So, this has me confused how all these cooking shows it seems the chefs are like "OMG this is medium ll it's overcooked!" Is there a set standard for purposes of the competition, or do I just need to avoid Michelin Star steakhouses?

I just recently purchased Bloodrayne on Steam, and it seems that I am having an issue where the ends of audio files are being cut off. For example, Rayne will say "I just hate the wa." then Mynce will say "You are only half-vampire. A dip might hurt, but it won't ki" then Rayne says "So will sticking a finger in my eye, doesn't mean I have to do" then Mynce says "No time for pleasantries. Just like your half-sis" etc.

Long story short, recently in order to help manage my inheritance from my mother's death, I decided to get have appointed a conservator. I read things, I asked questions to the lawyer, and everything. But, there were some things I was not informed of (and saw nothing to make me wonder and ask) that are now making things difficult. For one, the above question. The conservator now legally has complete control of all my money from all sources? This part was NOT told to me. While she's not being mean about it, it's still annoying as all heck that I have to get my money from her, then put it on a prepaid debit card for online stuff, or deal in cash.

For the past few months I've been getting daily calls telling me how I can lower the interest rate on my credit cards, my second and final notice. Daily I get this "second and final notice". Ten times now I've actually sat and waited for a person to answer, and told them I paid off and canceled all my credit cards... they promised to remove me from the list... Next day, second and final notice... It's obviously a scam... how the hell do I stop these daily calls????? as I said, I have paid off and canceled my credit cards and told them this on multiple occasions.

When I was a kid living in Olathe, KS I remember down by a creek there were these trees with nine-inch nail like spikes on them. The fruit was a yellowish hard fruit with IIRC a green interior. My friends and I used to have contests to see who could throw and impale the fruits on the trees.
