I was wondering if you could use an ATT sim card in a Net10 phone (that does use sim cards) and still have a fully functional phone.

    Thanks!

  • IPhone for filmmaking.?

My friend and I are interested in filming a short film with my iPhone 4. We have read about several filmmakers doing this and were wondering what apps and software we should use.

We know this in no way will be professional. We are just interested in experimenting with it a little and trying to come up with the best video possible.

  • Will this kill Bed Bugs?

I recently found two bed bugs in my apartment and the landlord refuses to help in any way, even though I caught one adult still alive. I believe they came from a neighbor because three tenets have them and have been throwing away all of their stuff recently. Since I cant afford a professional, I plan to sprinkle food grade diatomaceous earth around and under all baseboards, crevices, on carpets and along stairs. I also plan to spray all furniture and my bed, including folds and seams, with rubbing alcohol (91%) at least once a week and laundering and drying all clothing and bedding with the highest heat. I'm also going to use the DE under my couch cushions and under the couches as well.

Will all of this help my problem or will I be fighting a losing battle? I have searched with a flashlight in every crevice and crack in the walls and floors, in the folds of furniture and bedding and I lifted the corners of the carpet in my bedroom and I see no traces of the bugs at all so I'm thinking my problem is mild right now.

I'm supposed to have three teeth pulled soon with local anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide. My previous dentist has had trouble numbing me so I think I may not numb well. Will having Nitrous before hand help with the pain and discomfort while the teeth are being pulled?

  • Where does the negative battery cable connect too?

I have a 1997 Ford Escort and was wondering where the negative battery travels from the battery to. I was told it was to the alternator.

  • What is a good video editing software that supports Quicktime?

Does anyone know a good Windows editing software that will edit HD quicktime files from an Aiptek HD1? Possibly under $60. I don't want to convert the files to another format, I would rather edit them in their original form.

    Thanks!

  • Windows Movie Maker failure to save?

Every time I try to save as a movie in Windows Movie Maker it gets to about 11% and fails. I get an error message that says something like "your movie was not saved because you don't have enough space in the destination, your files are not in the original location, or the save to destination no longer exists." None of these things are true, I have triple checked.

Any one have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

  • Alternator causing shifting issues?

I have a 1997 Ford Escort automatic and the one wire on the right side of my alternator has gotten so hot that its melted the plastic housing around the wire. Could this be the cause my car to shudder when drove from idle and/or cause the car to have trouble shifting gears when I give it to much power?

Also, I had the alternator replaced about 4 months ago.

  • DVD Burner won't recognize DVD-R?

I have a TSSTCorp DVD+-RW TS-L532B on my Dell B130 and whenever I put a blank DVD-R into the drive the name of the drive changes from DVD-RW drive to CD Drive in the My Computer Folder. I downloaded a free DVD burner software and it still wont work correctly. I have Windows XP Home Edition by the way and recently reformatted my hard drive.

  • Need a Firewire Port with installing new card?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a product I could use to hook my camcorder up to my laptop via firewire without having a port. I don't want to install a firewire card, I would prefer something external and the cheaper the better.

    Any ideas?

  • How do I restore back to XP on my Dell B130?

I recently bought a Dell B130 which someone had mistakenly put Windows 7 on and it is designed for Windows XP. I have tried to restore the system back to its factory setting but it keeps telling me that there is no back up image on the computer and to enter the recovery disk, which I don't have. There are no recovery dates to choose from or anything either.

Is there anyway I can get Windows XP Home back on the laptop?

  • My car will not go into gear!?

My car (1997 Ford Escort) will start but will not go into gear when the gear shift is moved. I can easly go through all the gears but the only ones that seems to work are park and nuetral. It gave out one day while I was leaving work. I put the car in reverse, then in drive, drove not even 100 feet and it seems to have slipped.

All the brake lights work, the car starts fine and will idol and the shifter cable is still intact. Could it possibly be the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid?

  • Why won't my car stay running?

I was driving home (a 1997 Ford Escort) and noticed that my battery light came on and flickered a bit. I tried to ignore it till I got home but instead my headlights went really dim and the radio started cutting in and out till the car finally died. I managed to get it started again and made it the rest of the way home with no headlights. Now when I jump the car using someone elses car (jumper cables) it starts just fine but won't last very long. Could this be a bad battery, alternator, or something?

It also sounds like the car is having trouble while idle even when hooked up to another car. There is also a rather loud hissing noise coming from somewhere under the hood.

  • TV will not receive satellite signal?

We are trying to hook our Akai HD television up to our satellite and we are getting nothing. We are using a coaxial cable that is being ran from the box and hooking it directly into the back of the tv in cable in and have tried setting the tv on both channels, 3 and 4. Even doing a channel search doesn't bring up any results. We even tried hooking the cable into the port labeled air. When we hook up to our really old, smaller television it works just fine.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

  • What is this small knot in my belly button?

I have a small knot inside my belly button, more at the top but still inside (I'm overweight). I can push it back in but it comes right back to the same position. It's hard but not painful when I touch it. It only causes some slight discomfort sometimes. I first noticed it when I cleaned my belly button to hard and it began to hurt and caused a little pain to go up my stomach - which only lasted about a day and only when I pushed on my stomach. I have not lost my appetite or anything though. But I have noticed a slight change in bowel movement frequency and I am more gasy.

I went to the emergency room over it and the doctor just touched and had me cough. She said it COULD be a hernia. I set up an appointment with another doctor but I have to wait a week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
