The last couple of nights I have had real bad nightmares where people wanted to kill me and would stop at nothing to get me. I grew up around a lot of questionable characters and otherwise thugs - but not killers. Anyway, I've been dreaming about all these people coming after me. People I knew, they weren't my best friends but people I was cool with. Then there was a couple of best friends I was with for a while too but haven't really been close with them for 10+ years. These questionable people were all like terrorizing me and I really had to fight them to the death. One of them had to kill me.

What is this all about? I'm feeling really drained the day after and it's not good at all. I used to have much better dreams but last couple of nights have been terrible.

Wow..I still can't believe they screwed that up. There's no doubt in my mind that the Broncos would've beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl. It was good to see the Harbaugh matchup but still the Broncos really screwed that up. I can't believe how badly the Broncos screwed up! Terrible!!!

Anyone have an idea of some good deals for cars or SUV's under $5000.

I was thinking of VW Beetle but heard they're real expensive to maintain and unreliable.

I was going to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee but then I need to look at like a 2002.

I was looking at Hyundai Santa Fe and that looked decent. Jeep Liberty. Volvo car (S60?) looked nice.

He looks a lot like Mosquito "Skeeter" from the old Nickelodeon show "Doug" It's kind of crazy. That was one of my favorite shows. I'm rooting for him now.

I have a heavy bag I want to hang from the exposed wooden ceiling beams in my basement. I'm not sure if I should use 3 blocks of 2x6 wood, or if I should just spend $30 for the Fighting Sports Heavy Bag Ceiling Mount?

I wonder which would be more sturdy. I like the idea of just installing the mount and not needing to spend money on the wood, but I'm not sure what would be cheaper or more effective.

Right now when I search for classes I can choose 2012 Summer, 2012 Fall, 2013 Winter and 2013 Spring. I don't know why I'd still be able to search for 2012 summer so I wonder if they made a mistake and I should register.

I need to know when summer classes usually become available to register for because there's a class I'm required to take.

I just transferred to a 4-year school with my associate's and I'm a history major. I checked all of the requirements and ideally I would like to take another class (just a basic HIST100 that is required at this school.

I might not be able to take that class though and I want to take all my classes now because I won't be working this semester either.

Right now I'm registered for one 100 level history class and one 200 level history class. Other than that I have Spanish and an Intro to Music class. That's 4 classes and I really want the HIST100 class. There's a chance that I won't be able to get in though.

I'm thinking of taking the extra HIST200 class and then I can even drop the Music class so that I'm only taking 4 classes this semester. I will try to take HIST100 over the summer If I take the extra HIST class now then I'll have less HIST classes to take later on and more electives I can take later on. They seem like lower level courses so might not be too much to handle now.

What do you all think of this?

I'm registered for HIST of Black Americans and Hist of Ancient Chinese Civ. Thinking of taking Women in American history too. Not sure if it might be too much. There's a lot of bad reviews on the Women in History class so kind of scares me a bit.

Or even maybe during the first week of classes? It is a HIST100 class that you need to take in order to take a lot of the 300 level history courses. I think it's mostly about how to write a history paper and basics of history, 3 credits.

So, there is one HIST100 class that's open w/ 4 spots. 2 other HIST100 classes are closed and I've been looking for them to open for about 2 weeks but haven't found an opening. The professor told me they could not permit me into the class with another HIST100 class still open.

Do you think this class will have an opening before next Monday? Or even during the week of classes?

In my experience, if you're hunting down classes then they usually open a spot here and there during the final week of registrations. I'm not sure about this class though and if everyone has their schedules completely set that they won't change the class.

I found an opening in one class I wanted just a couple of days ago when the spot opened up and someone joined in the open HIST100 class that has the same time.

Should I expect to see an opening in the specific class I'm looking for? What % chance?

I had enough of this big-mouth CHEATER! He should not even be able to play in these games but of of course all these con-men have their own way of conning their way out of trouble.

I really wanted to see a Redskins player knock him out last week. I'm hoping Roddy White or Julio Jones just bodyslams the clown Sherman today.

To me, history is kind of like an elective. I'm taking the class because I have interest in it. Anyway, I just transferred to a 4-year school with associate's and this semester I'm considering taking 3 history classes to get them out of the way now, while they're kind of low-level.

I was going to take 3 history classes originally but one of them is just an introduction to history that I never had at my other school. I don't think that class was going to be too hard, still hoping I can take that since it's a requirement, but if not then I'll have to take it in the Summer.

Well, here's the 3 history classes I'd be taking (if I don't get into the HIS100 "Study of History class" - or maybe I could even squeeze in that one too?)::

History of Black Americans 217

Women In American History 215

Intro To Chinese Civilization 132

I'll also be taking Spanish 101 and somerthing like Intro to Political Science or Intro to Criminal Justice. 5 classes total.

Then next semester I will take the required seminar and have less history classes to manage later on. Does this seem like a good idea? The subjects seem vastly different so it shouldn't be too confusing. What do you think?

I can buy it for $450 from a local shop. At least they have that posted on their website as an ongoing sale.

Would $450 be a good price for this bike? I was going to buy a Escape 2 for $420 but the one shop didn't have it. i didn't check this other shop but I don't expect them to be able to get any either. I could maybe get this Escape City for $30 more though. Would it be worth the extra money?

I wouldn't mind having the rack but I don't really need the fenders.

Would it be worth it and would it be a good deal if I can get it? Better than the Escape 2?

Should I drop Howard for Utley?

This only counts offensive categories and I'll use either one at the "Utility/DH spot" I have Goldschmidt to put at 1B. Jason Kipnis at 2B.

I'm thinking Utley is overall the better player. Howard has looked rather horrible and his best years behind him. Utley has been more steady and a better player. Should I pick up Utley to use over Howard?

I like mixes because to me they're just more unique than other dogs. Not looking like every other dog.

I have a Boxer/Border Collie mix and she's a great dog, She's not that big though. My sister has a Westie and he can walk under my dog because my dog has some tall legs but she's not that much bigger. The Westie basically just fits when he walks under her, I've been seeing lots of pictures of Border Collies and Boxers but I don't know which is smaller. I'm not sure which breed my dog gets most of her genes from. She looks just like a mix and has qualities of both.

I want a dog about the same size of her. Definitely not a big dog because then she can get hurt and I don't want a Westie or anything that small because they go to the bathroom too much. My dog will hold it for a while.

I saw some Boxer-Labrador Retriever mixes and I would think that'd be a great to have too. I've mostly been looking at Boxer mixes but should I look at Border Collie mixes? She is like all brown but black hair mixed around mostly on her back.

Any other suggestions? I'm going to try to get a boy because I heard they usually get along better. It might be nice to get a boy too anyway. I know she tries her best to get along with my sisters Westie. They get along pretty well, though the Westie is a bit rough. I think if I had raised/trained the dog then it would be more playful and not so rough with other dogs.

I feel that this year a lot of the skill in picking your own team prior to the start of the year was completely useless.

There have been so many picks from early rounds that ended up being complete busts. Guys with high expectations that have been busts.

Pitchers:

Cliff Lee

Roy Halladay - Was absolutely terrible in beginning of year and then lands on the DL for 6 weeks.

Ian Kennedy - Has been absolutely awful.

Ricky Romero - Atrocious.

Yu Darvish - Terribly inconsistent and awful.

Adam Wainwright - Pretty awful. Coming off injury but expected better.

Josh Johnson - Complete bust so far this year. Expected much more.

Heath Bell - Absolutely awful. Total bust.

Mariano Rivera - Was great until he tore his ACL early in the year.

Jered Weaver - Has been great but even he missed about 2 months with a back injury.

Tim Lincecum - Absolutely awful and complete bust. Might have a good 2nd half now, after enough fantasy owners have suffered from his stank.

Derek Holland - After all those CG's last year and a pretty solid year then you thought he could be good. Instead he had a bad 1st half and ended up going to the DL.

Doug Fister - After a solid year last year. There were some decent expectations for him pitching in Detroit behind Verlander.

There's been so many guys that usually aren't in the class of the above guys but this year have been so much better than them.

Kyle Lohse, Chris Sale, RA Dickey, AJ Burnett - these guys have been some of the studs this year.

Matt Cain, Yovani Gallardo, Justin Verlander, Madison Bumgarner have all done what has been expected. Gio Gonzalez has been even better. Cole Hamels has been solid. David Price has been solid. I'm a bit surprised since I picked him last year and he was a bust last year. Skipped him this year and now he's beast like I thought he'd be. I guess that happens though...

Hitters:

Pablo Sandoval was awesome and then had to miss 6 weeks with injury.

Mark Trumbo - He was drafted in many leagues but then "the greatest baseball manager" Mike Sciosia wasn't even putting him in the lineup. People drop him and then some newbs pick him up after they seen his name and saw that he was doing good and getting some games in the lineup. I had him on just about every team, in my lineup, my friend was laughing at me that I had him. He wasn't even playing though. I eventually dropped him off every team I had him and then some fools have him now.

Curtis Granderson - Has not been a top OF like expected, especially with Ellsbury out.

Matt Kemp - Was great to begin with and then he's on the DL for most the year.

Eric Hosmer - He's been horrible.

Alex Gordon - Big step back.\

Pujols has not been too great.

Adrian Gonzalez- big bust

Jacoby Ellsbury - bust

Dustin Pedroia - Bust

Evan Longoria - Didn't have a great year last year but was doing good this year until he suffered injury.

There just seems to be an overwhelming amount of busts this year. These guys are complete busts.

David Wright was a real risky pick but it' wasn't a newb pick.

Josh Willingham? Where the heck did that come from? Playing in Minnesota. I knew this guy had talent but not sure how he became a top fantasy OF. Not even a good 3rd OF or DH spot but he can be any teams top OF...SMH

Josh Reddick - WOW...

Jake Peavy, Lance Lynn, etc, etc... Even Bronson Arroyo would've been better to have on your team then some of those bust pitchers I named. He would've been a good pick for any team in the 5th round instead of Ian Kennedy.

What do you all think? The year of the newb? I feel like A LOT of people have gotten really lucky this year in fantasy. The competition is much closer because of all these waiver wire guys that have been so great.

I was watching the game and I heard the announcers say he was being charged with 3 ER. I'm pretty sure he only should've been charged with 2 but he was given 3 ER.

Does anyone know if somehow they changed it to 4 ER?

I might have lost my fantasy baseball league because of this...totally expected to win and then these points just got taken away.

I found that Sandoval was surprisingly on the waiver wire in my league. So, I decided I'd drop Shane Victorino for him. I wasn't able to make any trades with Victorino so I just dropped him, especially since Charlie Manuel said he'll be hitting 7th.

Now someone offered me Ivan Nova for Sandoval. I was trying to trade for Nova but the guy wasn't doing any trades. But I was trying to trade basically Victorino and Ricky Romero. 2 guys that haven't been doing good, so he had no interest. When I dropped Victorino for Sandoval then he sent me that offer.

Sandovals been having a real good year though and I don't exactly need the pitching really. I can use Sandoval over A-Rod at 3B or find another spot for him in my lineup. But I could get Nova who is a real solid pitcher. I don't really NEED Sandoval right now but he could possibly upgrade my offense a bit. Having Nova could improve my pitching a lot probably. Thought at first I wanted to get Nova for some guys I was ready to drop anyway. Now I want to keep Sandoval but Nova is good too.

What do you all think?

Is there any reason to believe they'll be much better in the second half?

I can drop Napoli for Santana in one league. I can drop Santana and Napoli in a few leagues. Napoli really hasn't done anything for my team at this point so I probably should get rid of him.

Salvador Perez on KC looks like a much better option than these guys right now. Should I make the jump and just pick up Perez? I already did it the last week in one league and it rewarded me with points.
