I have an EFC of 0, and was estimated the full pell grant; the school

UMKC (Uni of Missouri- Kansas City) then gave me the Chancellor's Scholarship of $2,500. The tuition is about $5,000. I tried talking to the financial aid department, but they were unenthused to be any sort of helpful.

So, if tuition is approximately $5,000, minus the scholarship of $2,500, and I was told I would have everything covered by the grant, will I get to keep the extra grant money?

Does anyone know about pell grant procedures of UMKC?

First off, please no "There's no God, you don't need to read the Bible!" it's a personal belief, and I would prefer answers from fellow Christians.

When I first started off, I was so excited- I was knocking down 15-45 chapters a DAY! I have never gotten this far because of the sacred tent section in Exodus/Leviticus that just kind of...drags on (Sorry, God, it just kind of does).

Then I was talking with someone who's a bit of a Bible expert and he pointed out how important it was to read the King James version, because less is lost in translation. I have been reading NIV, or even the Contemporary English Version (way dummied down), when I couldn't get through some things without having a wandering mind (like while reading about the sacred tent).

I can't seem to get through anything while reading KJV, but I feel like I'm doing it 'wrong' by reading versions that aren't as close to the original as they should be.

Advice?

I signed a 14mo lease in March of 2012 at a place in Kansas City, MO. I paid first and last months rent ($1,100), a Sure-Deposit ($20), and a pet deposit ($250).

Half way through the lease, our neighbors committed suicide and left behind a cat; the office couldn't find someone to take the cat and were going to have it put down (so they said) and were giving it away. I felt bad and offered to take it. I got a signed document saying that I didn't have to pay another deposit, and that I didn't have to pay pet rent (I was paying $15/mo for my dog).

Long story short: the cat ended up not being the neighbors' cat- it was a stray (confirmed by another neighbor who was close to the couple that committed suicide), and caused a BUNCH of damage. It sprayed everywhere, tore up the carpet down to the wood, and scratched the walls and doors.

I went to the office and told them, and in return was told "oh, don't worry about it..." and when I moved out, was told I would be getting $140 from my pet deposit.

A month later I received a bill for $800 for the carpet!

Sorry it's so long, but do I have a chance of getting out of this...?

I've looked all over the internet and can't find out anywhere! It's been out for about 4 months now...

Is this true? If so, why?

I have many scars, but I have never had one with so many little red dots in it. I thought that they were caused by the sun, but this scar happened this winter and has had no exposure to sun.
