So my friend is entering this fashion shoot contest and asked me to be her model. She's not very directive so its basically me doing all the work (positioning, dressing, make up, choosing locations), so any suggestions and help will be appreciated!

What should I wear during this shoot? and where are some good places in the bay area can we go?

Hi everyone, i'm not being lazy but i've searched online for articles, essays, publications on why the drinking age in the us should NOT be lowered but nothing really credible came up. I'm doing an argumentative analytical paper and i need an essay from both arguments to incorporate and analyze for my own paper. the paper i found on why the drinking age SHOULD be lowered is by a professor from indiana university. Any help would be appreciated to find the other side of the argument. thanks a lot everyone.

I'm finally going clubbing for the first time for my 19th birthday but i dont want to be standing around. i want to dance and freak dance with my girls and guysss. please help. i know theres little you can do through typing but please help me to learn how to freak dance and look cute.

In my College Writing course, we read a short essay by Kai Erickson on The Witches of Salem Village. It basically talks about the first known occurrences of the witchcraft hysteria and how both women and men were tried in court for their out of the norm behaviors. I need to write a journal entry on the theme of this story. The few that I am thinking of are Social deviance, and the justice system. Are their any other themes that you can help me with? I'm not too great with the Salem Witch Trials. But it IS interesting. OH, and if you don't mind, what is YOUR opinion of this part of history?

I think it is savage of the people to accuse others of witchcraft if they do something drastically different than the norm. If it were now, we'd all be hung since uniqueness is "in". And we are all able to show off our individuality.

Hi everyone, so I am finally in college after giving birth to my son, and being with him all day everyday for the past 5 months! I have a big paper due in a couple of weeks that account for 30+ percent of my final grade in college english. Theres topics like the death penalty and abortion, that i want to write about but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of other, less common topics? I just feel that if i were to choose a topic that is common, and another student does the same, i'll be compared to his/her paper making it even more difficult to score an A. Any help would be appreciated.

My son will be 5 months in a week. Today is Saturday the 27th. This all started last Sunday when he threw up twice (he's not a throw up baby, not even much spit-up). Right after the vomiting episode, he pooped the worse smelling poop ever. It was mucusy with chunks (doctor says today that it is diarhea). That weird texture and smell of the poop has been occuring all week. Many times he passes gas and poop comes out, I'll change his diaper and it is ALWAYS dirty, whether a little or a lot. Christmas night, he threw up again twice and had a fever. I went in to the doctor yesterday, and dr said jus let it pass. Had blood drawn from his arms and results: normal. Fever got worse last night to 102.3. Went to a diff MD today and he says that fevers are rare at the end of an illness, so baby got checked for UTI, initial results are negative but still waiting for the final results; doc says should not be a uti. I also went to the doctor last mon , day after it all started. He just said wait it out. PLEASE, I'm going crazy seeing my baby in so much pain (he's been overly fussy since yesterday. He screams evertime we touch him, hasn't smile for days) I miss my baby. Please someone, what is this!? What should I do? The dr's can't say anything else but its the stomach flu and let it pass on its own.

About 2 days ago, my 2 and half week old baby boy latched on wrong and my nipples became very very sore (this happened when we first got back from the hospital but it went away eventually). The day after the sore nipple came, i developed chills, and a fever os 102 degrees. I had mastitis and was given antibiotics for the infection. The doctor checked my breasts and there is a clogged milk gland. My first question is, how can i unclog this milk gland if i'm only pumping from that breast because it is too painful to nurse with?

Second question is; i would like to stop breast feeding in about 4 months because i will be going back to school and won't have time to pump during the day however, i'm afraid i will develope mastitis again. How can i avoid mastitis again?

It is now 3:25 in the morning over here and at 1:30 in the morning, i woke up to go use the bathroom. After i got back into bed, i felt a little water coming out of my womb (just a tiny bit). It's clear, just the texture of water and smelled like nothing. At 3 o clock, a little more came but still not a lot. I just took a shower but am wondering if that was my water. Is it possible to just have a little bit come out at a time? My next appointment is tomorrow at 11 so I think i will just wait until then to see what my doctor says. but until then, can you guys please help? thanks

What's the procedure like?

Hey, i'm 38 weeks pregnant and feeling stronger braxton hicks this morning and its hitting me that labor is coming soon. I just wanted to know what YOUR labor stories are. (did you get stronger braxton hicks like i am gettin this morning? How did you know you were in labor? How did you handle the contraction pains? How many weeks were you when you went into labor? Did you get any medication for the pain? How was the recovery? How much did your baby weigh? AND ANYYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE. ).. It's getting closer for me and i just wanna know how your labor experience was to get me a little ready for what to expect =)

I had my 38 week check up yesterday and doctor said my cervix was just a little opened and so she opened it up a little more. Ever since then, i'm feeling more braxton hicks contractions regularly. In the past hour my stomach has gotten really hard 6-8 times and when it does, it's hard to breath until it releases again. Is this normal or is this a labor symptom? Haha, i'm so scared I wouldn't know what a real contration feels like but i heard I'd know cuz it'd be painful. But does regular braxton hicks indicate anything? I've only had those a couple times a day before my visit with the doctor. Thank you guys for answering in advance =)

Hey, i'm 38 weeks pregnant and I have an appointment tomorrow and would like the doctor to check if I'm dialated at all or close to delivery. Does it hurt when they check and how is the process done? I know it doesn't hurt as much as birth, but i just wanted to know if it was uncomfortable and what not. thankss.

You know how some people have layouts that does not show their top friends or their friends period? Is there a way I can view their friends anyways?

I woke up in the middle of the night to go use the bathroom. Because i was half asleep i accidently bumped my belly against the door. It hurt a little bit but i ended up falling back asleep. Now that i am awake, when i touch the spot where i hit the door, it has a bruising pain (but no bruise). Did i hurt my baby? I'm really worried. he's still moving normally.

I'm pregnant, and this may be the pregnancy hormones talking, but my bf's family is so irritating. Every little thing about thing upsets me (how dirty they are, the way they act, the way they talk).. They like me, and i used to like them but ever since i've been pregnant, i've noticed all their flaws and every little thing makes me angry. I've also noticed that right after work i'd go straigt into my room and stay there. Before, i used to always go in the living room and hang out with everyone. But everyone pisses me off now. I can't wait to move into our own apartment, but i'm 18 and my bf doesn't have a stable job YET. Has anyone gone through this? How did you cope with everything before you moved out? I'm not a *****, its jus they irritate me. at least since i've been pregnant.

Hey, has anyone ever been on the labor and delivery tour? I'm going tonight and was wondering how long the tour lasts? And was it helpful to anyone? Did you see mom's in labor or newborn babies?

I drink about a cup of pepsi about 4 times a week. Doctor says its okay, but jus wanted to see if anyone did the same, and did they notice any harm in their child. I also eat these coffee candies here and there, (they're addicting!)..is that okay?

My bf wants a junior, which i can understand being that our son will be his first. But his name is Veasna. It's cambodian for "lucky" because he survived being 2 months premature and other health issues as a baby. My name is Julie. I was thinking of naming our son Veasna Julius Jr. But because i find it difficult to say Veasna (not because its hard to pronounce but because i never even called my bf Veasna).. I would call and have others call my son by his middle name, Julius. Is that okay? And does that make me look conceited to name call him by a name branched from my own?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and for the past week or so, I've been pooping more than normal. I'd have diarhea pains here and there but they come out solid. I want to say i poop at least 3 times a day for the past week or so. Is this normal?
