My dog has some build up of tartar on her teeth and the vet has also pointed it out.

I have tried using a dog toothpaste on her teeth, but her gums bleed and I think it's painful for her to have them brushed now. The vet suggested using the dentastix treats but she's not keen on them, or she just buries them in the garden. Another suggestion was brushing her teeth using my finger which she doesn't mind, but I don't really think it's doing very much.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for me?

I text a lot, almost to the point where I'm using it like an instant messenger for conversations!

I currently have a LG cookie, but this isn't really good enough for my texting anymore.

It can only save 500 messages at a time, this includes sent items. So I spend so much of my time trying to scroll through my texts deleting them.

I really like the way blackberrys display texts as a conversation, that's something my phone doesn't do that annoys me.

What would a good phone be for someone who texts a lot?

It's got to be available at a reasonable price on pay as you go because i have a sim only contract. Also, I really don't like touch screens.

And finally, I'm not changing my contract so this means that I don't get any internet or data stuff, so I don't want a phone where I need this to get the best out of it.

Do I need a contract to be able to do this?

Also, would it work if I bought my blackberry on pay as you go, but then got a monthly sim deal and used that sim?

I'm currently doing AS levels in chemistry, biology, maths, french and critical thinking.

Next year I'll drop critical thinking and one other subject. At first I just assumed I'd drop french but now looking into things, I actually prefer french to maths and I feel I'll do better in french.

Some universities ask for maths A level, but many don't specifically ask for it. Would not having it (and having french A level instead) lower my chances of getting a place in the unis not asking for maths?

So I've liked this boy for probably over a year now. It's been that long because I started off getting to know him as a friend, but then he got a girlfriend.

They dated for about 8 or 9 months but it really never worked out, even from the start and eventually she dumped him over the summer.

The whole time they were going out, me and him were pretty close in a more-than-friends way. And after they split up I was able to tell people that I liked him. We got quite close again and a lot of people thought that we were a couple. I was just waiting for the right time to move things on.

But then today he was all close with his ex's best friend sat with his arm around her whilst i was sat with them.

She's a friend of mine, but I know that she can be very two-faced. She knows I like him, and she knows he's her best mate's ex but that wouldn't stop her. Also she encouraged her friend to date him just to annoy a friend of his that they don't like.

I get on very well with his friends and they'd all like for me to get together with him but they wouldn't stop him getting with this other girl.

What should I do?

I can't say anything to him or his friends because that just makes me look jealous, plus word will get back to the girl and it will make me look bad. Plus I don't want to make things awkward with the boy.

I have a 10 month jack russell. When I let her out into the garden she runs out barking crazily. Sometimes she sees squirrels or birds which I can understand her barking at. But quite often she actually just goes out and barks for the sake of it. This is particularly a problem early in the morning and late at night because I'm worried about her annoying the neighbors.

I've tried calling her in when she barks but she ignores me.

Any tips?

Are there any obvious mistakes in this, or things that don't really make sense? Don't worry about telling me about accents that are wrong/ missing- I just can't be bothered to type them all properly.

Certains gens croient que la musique ne sert á rien, mais selon un rapport, 74% des Francais disent que 'la musique est la forme d'art dont ils pourraient le moins facilement se passer'.

Pour beaucoup de personnes, la musique joue un grand role dans ses vies. On peut écouter la musique en toute situation- par exemple au fete, lorsqu'on est en train de travailler or voyager et quand on se déposer.

De plus, la musique est émouvante. Ce n'est pas seulement bruit- les chansons ont un sens. Á mon avis les paroles sont trés importants. Ils permettre l'auteur á s'exprimer et quand on écoute le chanson, on peut raconter á les sens.

Selon autres la musique n'est pas véritable aujourd'hui, c'est simplement une industrie pour gagner l'argent. Contrairement pour beaucoup de gens, une carriére musicale est sa reve. Elle les donnes une ambition.

Aussi la musique s'aide déposer. Aprés une journée long au college ou travaille, elle se permettre se relaxer et rester m'ésprit. Selon un rapport, écouter de la musique est la meillure facon á se déposer.

En conclusion, je ne suis pas d'accord que la musique ne sert pas á rien. Á mon avis la musique forme la plupart de la vie moderne.

I have a 2 month kitten who, strangely, loves to jump into my bath! Whilst this was quite funny the first couple of times, it's actually getting rather annoying now.

I've tried using different bubble baths hoping he might not like the scents and I've also tried putting his food out just before I have my bath, but nothing works. Obviously I've also tried taking him out everytime he gets in, but then he climbs back.

Oh and I should also point out that the door handle on my bathroom is broken and I've been told I cannot do anything until my landlord returns from his 6 month break in America- he won't be back for another three and a half months!
