If I think I am being harassed by my supervisor, should I complain to her first or file a complaint?
This has been going on for over a year, and I haven't officially complained because she's a long time employee with a lot of friends. I've been there only 2 years. This is subtle harassment and it's also a slur on my character (insinuations that I can't be trusted, for example). This started when I was inexplicably arrested by campus police for driving on a suspended license (due to a unpaid $70 ticket), taken to jail & chained to a table! Of course I complained to police but was never answered, despite my repeated follow ups. I even went to personnel. I think they've been trying to defame my character to make that appear justified. What should I do?
