This is my absolute favourite boys name, after Phineas Gratiano.

Gratiano is from the play Merchant of Venice. Gratiano is the father's favorite character in all of Shakespeare.

BQ: His nickname would be Phin which is traditionally spelled Fin or Finn? They're set on the spelling of Phineas and are not open to other spellings.

when i was born my mom wanted to name me Emma Lynn (insert middle name here) Surname....well when i was actually born my dad got all nervous and the birth certificate was filled out wrong. my name is legally Emma Lynn surname. I’m five minutes early to my History class. Who does that? I do. I get there early everyday so that I can chat with my crush, Brady Zachariah. The clock is ticking fast and my heart is beating right with it. Then I see him.

Oh. My. God. He looks so ******* cute. His hair is perfectly combed and his gray shirt and tight jeans make him look flawless. He smiles towards me and my stomach turns upside down.

“Hiya, Luc! Fancy meeting you here!” He jokes lightly, taking the seat next to me. I laugh and run my hands through my hair. “Waiting for me, I presume?” Brady says, laughing. Yes. Yes, I am waiting here for you, Brady. Iloveyousofuckingmuch. As confidently as I could, I replied,

“Naw, I’m just here early t-to study up before our quiz.” Brady furrowed his brow and smirked, “From the look on your face when you saw me, I can’t really believe that.” He said, nudging me.

“Oh really?” I replied, “You think I came here a full 5 minutes early just to see and talk to you?”

“Indeed I do.”

“And why is that?”

“Because that’s why I came early…” He answered, my heart skipping five beats. I blushed and smiled, trying not to make it too obviously that I was utterly and completely elated. Trying to break the awkward tension I spit out,

“Wh-what?”

“I come early every day to see you, Luc.” I must be dreaming. “I love spending time with you.” Yup, this was definitely a dream. I pinched myself to check if I was awake and gasped at the pain of it. ****, I didn’t mean to pinch myself that hard! I looked up at Brady and our eyes locked. His beautiful blue eyes sparkled, and yet, I still could see that he was concerned. He cleared his throat and spoke up,

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah, I just pinched myself and it really hurt.”

“What’d you do that for?

“To check if I was dreaming…” I replied, rather flirtatiously. Brady smiled really big and grabbed my hand. His thumb stroked my palm, and I breathed out, tautly. But the second the bell rang, Brady snatched his hand back.

During the class, I tried to pay attention, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off of Brady. He was tapping his foot. Nervously? Or out of pure boredom? If it was the latter, I couldn’t blame him. Mr. Albany was an awesome teacher, but learning about Anne Frank and her legendary diary for the hundredth time wasn’t the most entertaining thing in the world. Finally the class ended and I packed up my stuff and started walking out…Brady grabbed my arm and pulled me back towards him, my back facing his chest, only an inch between us. He put his chin on my shoulder and whispered in my ear,

“Meet me at Denn Park after school. I’ll be waiting.” And with that, he left. I fell back into the chair behind me, completely stunned. That was so ******* sexy. Brady is so sexy. Oh my god. By then the bell rang, and I came back to real life…Mr. Albany was standing above me, offering his hand to help me up. I shook my head and stood up.

“Love struck?” Mr. Albany asked me, winking.

“Um, no…j-just…I’m really tired. Sorry, gotta go!” I ran out of the room, across the hall and into my English classroom with no time to spare. The rest of the day was pointless, I didn’t learn a thing. All I was thinking about was Brady and the way he held me so close to him; so close I could feel his warmth.

Okay so I have many characters that I need names for. I'll describe them to you and then you help me name them. I'll make sure to let you know if any of them are related. Thank you so much in advance. (The son is the main character and will be narrating).

Gay fathers:

Dad (39): He has red hair which is cut short. In addition, he has freckles, blue eyes and wears glasses. He's a very loosey-goosey person. Calls his son "Bud" "Buddy" and "Kiddo". "Dad" Is the stay at home parent, and spends his free time reading...about parenting. Strives to be the best dad he can be. Very charismatic and outgoing. An optimist.

Papa (41): Has very chiseled features. He has short blonde hair, green eyes and a fantastic smile. Teaches a kindergarten class at "Denn Neighborhood Elementary". He is a very nice, caring teacher. He tries to be strict with his son, to make up for the behavior of "Dad". Very romantic with his partner. Kind and gentle person. Although, he has a mean temper. He is also very pessimistic and sensitive.

Son (15): Has his Dad's red hair and his Papa's green eyes. His parents used a surrogate, mixing their sperm together, and now they don't know who's the biological father, due to inheriting 1 feature from each of his fathers. He is a very outgoing person and has a lot of friends at school (Denn Neighborhood High School). He currently has a girlfriend (who I will describe in a second), but is confused because there's this one guy in his History class who he is EXTREMELY attracted to. At the same time, he really wants to go farther with his girlfriend, who has only let him kiss her. They haven't even made out yet and they've been dating 6 months.

Girlfriend (15): Very kind and gentle girl. Has long black hair and big brown eyes. When she smiles, she lights up the room. Her dimples are just plain adorable. Very flirty but wants to take things slow with her boyfriend. She really, really likes him and thinks she might love him. In general just an innocent and darling girl.

Boy crush (15): Had brown hair, blue eyes and a smile to die for. He's not your stereotypical gay guy...he's on the basketball team and acts very "manly". Is out at school and receives some bullying but he doesn't let it stop him. Very smart, funny and all in all PERFECT for "son".

I've been thinking maybe the son's name could be Lucas or "Luc". I'm not sure about it though so let me know if you think that's a good idea.
