I'm 19 and am planning a weekend in Vegas the end of October with my mom as a treat to coincide with a conference she is attending. What are some suggestions for a Mother-Daughter pair to do in Vegas that doesn't involve gambling since I'm too young still.

So my guy friend and I are interested in maybe having a little fling when we're back in the same state. Now we are decent friends who both enjoy playing mind games with each other. It has both ingredients for a success and disaster.

So my question is, how well does this work. I've never done it before and while the end answer will be mine, I'd like to hear if its a terrible idea or a good idea.

So, i recently got into country music and am looking to bulk up my playlist. the music i listen to currently is from pandora and I would like to get some for my iPod. I love Kenny Chesney, the Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, and Jason Aldean to name a few.

If you could be so kind as to suggest some songs or artists you know are good that would be wonderful.

So this is vague I know, but there is a book that I've been remembering the plot to just not the title.

The basic plot is:

A little girl is dropped off in England at a school for girls by her rich father. She grew up in with just her father in either South Africa or India. Her father leaves her and goes back to uncover a diamond mine where he dies. Upon hearing about his penny-less death, the owner of the school sends the little girl to live in the attic to work for the school and is mean to her. Eventually the girl is discovered by her fathers friend who actually lives next door with his monkey and servant.

So that is vague, but it is a childrens novel if that helps. Thank you so much!

I am good at polishing shoes to a mirror like shine and was thinking of offering to do it for the other students at my school for a fundraiser. The problem is that I have no idea what would be an appropriate rate. Should it be donations only or...?

I am 18 and planning a trip this summer for my mom and I. Last summer we went to Newfoundland and had an absolute blast. So I was looking into other parts of Canada and Ontario looked interesting.

so, assuming that we have about 2 weeks at the end of july 2011, what are some activities you recommend or just areas to visit. We would spend the time to drive to any little treasures around if you know of them.

I am attending my cousins wedding on saturday and am looking through my closet for a dress to wear. I have a white dress with a large black belt that i would wear with black sandals. is this okay?

I am an incoming college freshman looking to buy my first laptop. As I intend to study engineering, I decided to buy through my college. There are 3 different types of laptops.

a)HP EliteBook 8540p

b)Lenovo ThinkPad T510

c)Lenovo ThinkPad W510

I was wondering if you could help me decide which one to buy given that price is no consequence. just which computer is best to use.

i'm writing a paper and have to use foreshadowing. could you tell me if this is an accurate example?

when henry escapes from the officer-killers into the river, then cuts off his stars foreshadows him escaping into switzerland

because it shows him trying to remain one step ahead of reality.

for my paper, i have to relate foreshadowing to the quote, "Humankind cannot bear very much reality"

does it work? if not, can you give me another example?

i'm supposed to write a few sentences using para and por and have no where to start. if you could give some suggestions or helpful hints that would be great!

Next summer, my mom and I, are going to take a cross country trip. I am doing some preliminary planning, and was wondering what some good places to see are.

When the trip occurs, I will be 17, so that rules out nightclubs and whatnot.

We were hoping to see things that are more "off the beaten path" so to speak, but also major landmarks. Major Cities aren't on the top of the list.

If you could help, that would be great! If you could just name some places like the grand canyon, or some little historical landmark that you know of, that would be incredibly helpful.
