I went to get my hair colored and highlighted last week and after I left the salon I found that several spots on my roots are still dark. When I confronted the stylist about this she told me that you cant color the roots because it'll stain your scalp.

I've had my hair done this way before (just at a more expensive salon) and they managed to get everything and im wondering if anyone else has had a stylist tell them about this or if its true?

And if your wondering, yes i've already demanded that they fix it or give me a refund.

I know this isnt specific but if someone thinks they know who she is. Her voice sounds kinda like Faizura Balk. In the movie im trying to remember, this actress had either a shaved head or very short blonde hair, cut like a mans. No im not talking about GI Jane but i think this actress did play in some sort of combat movie or boot camp. Shes got kind of a squarish face and high cheek bones.

If some one could help me, its driving me nuts not remembering!!

One of my best friends has hit a financial crisis and I'm trying to find anyway to help her. She's one of the best artists I know and she can create AMAZING Cosplay Costumes and I was wondering if there is any website online where aspiring artists can go to sell their work or advertise that their talents are for hire??

I got a violin a long time ago and never learned how to play it. So now im looking for the best way to learn and if anyone out there has found a really good method. I know there are books like "Violins for dummies" and all that but i need one that people have actually tried and had it work.

Suggestions?

How many books can it hold?

Is it easy to adapt to reading it as opposed to reading regular books? Is it worth getting?

Im interested in getting one but i want to make sure its not just more of a hassle.

I drive an 1998 GMC sonoma, 4 cyl. About a month ago it started rattling just a bit when i started the truck but would only last for a few seconds. After a week it got a little worse and I asked my next door neighbor who works with race cars. At his suggestion I got my oil changed and had synthetic put in and i also filled the tank with super unleaded gas along with this stuff thats supposed to take any water out of the tank.

It seemed to work for almost a week but now its worse than ever and it rumbles like crazy while driving it. The radiator did have a leak but I had sealant put in before it could get too bad. So all the fluids are as they should be, the oil is a light caramel color but from the pictures i've seen online it looks like thats what color it should be.

So what else could be causing the engine to do this?

I just tried to color my hair a dark blonde (my hair was a dark/medium brown) and it seems like only the top of my head got lighter. I used an amonia free dye so can i try to do it again today or tomorrow?

Im a nursing student and I understand all about the dangers of sunburns but I've never come across this. I've heard of people being really cold and dehydrated but im niether of those.

My body is sore to the point that i can barely lift my arms or stand and i cant seem to stop shaking. Has any one else heard of this and know what to do?

I've had my Toshiba lap top for about 3 years now and its starting to run really slow.

I had a guy suggest to me that i should just delete everything off my computer and re-install all the software.

Would this work? And if so how do i do it? Or should i just take it some where? I know some places charge 100-200 dollars for stuff like that.

I found a complete box set of M.A.S.H brand new and the seller only wants 75 dollars where as in stores its priced at 200.

So my question is, how can you know that you're getting what you're paying for? I mean i dont want to pay the 75 and get some scratched up junk or nothing at all. How can you tell that it's legit?

I bought this purple polish almost a year ago and when i tried to paint my nails earlier the paint refused to dry no matter how long i kept it on and how thin i did the layers.

Is there a reason it does this or is it just too old? Any tricks to get it to dry?

I already synced what i bought off itunes but it synced my photos too and now i cant figure out how to take them off.

Then i have over 300 songs already on my computer in my media player that wont transfer over.

A freind of mine dropped a jar of cheese dip onto my living room floor and now the carpet is yellow. I've already used woolite and some resolve carpet cleaner but i can still see yellow. I even tried regular warm water and some dawn to scrub it up..

Anything else i can use? Besides a steam cleaner because i dont have one and i cant afford to go rent one.

I know things like this I should take her to the vet but my money doesnt come in for another week, so please save the lecture as i plan to take her in the moment the money hits my account.

For the past 2 weeks or so i started noticing my puppys skin was flaking and now it feels like she has scabs on her back. Is there anything i can give her to help this. One groomer suggested one benedryl a day and some hydrocortisone cream but it doesnt seem to be helping.
