LSU/Bama in san francisco?
Where can a couple of young single gals watch the LSU/Bama game in San Francisco, where we won't be surrounded by a*ssholes, young or old? I live in Pac Heights, so some place that's not on the other side of Van Ness or in the Avenues or the Mission would be good...
1 AnswerSan Francisco10 years agoHeaded to Denver - have one day - where should I go snowboarding?
I'll be in Denver for the long weekend - want to get some snowboarding in. Where should I go? Thinking Breckenridge, since I'll be close, but am looking for suggestions. Don't want to drive longer than 2 hours, so places like Crested Butte are out. Also, will have 2x4 rental car - should I upgrade to 4 or AWD?
Thanks in advance.

Going to Denver for business over the long weekend, have Sunday and Monday free and want to get some snowboarding in, where should I go? Thinking Breckenridge, since I'll be close (Littleton) but am looking for input. Also - will have a rental, weather's supposed to be clear, but should I go for 4 or AWD or will a 2x4 suffice?
Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersSnowboarding1 decade agoI'm single, 27, active and San Franciscan - will I be happy living in Denver?
I got an offer to teach in south metro Denver and I'm utterly torn - for starters, I've lived in San Francisco all my life and have no experience with weather at all. I'm in Tahoe all the time, but somehow driving up to Truckee doesn't seem to hold a candle to living in the Rockies. I've also got a thriving dog-oriented business and a reasonably comfortable life, but I feel as tho if I don't get out now, I'll never leave and I'm afraid that will stunt me, as a person.
Denverites, tell me about your city, what's it like? What do you love? What do you hate?
8 AnswersDenver1 decade agoWhat can I expect in terms of road conditions, driving from CA to MO in late December?
I have to drive from San Francisco to Kansas City for Christmas in my beat 2x4 jeep cherokee. I've got multiple sets of chains, but am still worried that this could be more of death march than a trip to visit the family. I'd fly if I didn't have two dogs coming along for the trip. Any advice on what to expect or warnings or even alternate, perhaps safer, routes would be much appreciated...
