So it's 2:30 am where I am, and I cannot fall back asleep because of severe discomfort in my throat. My throat has been sore since Wednesday night and I THOUGHT it was getting better, but it acted up again. What do you recommend? I've already been using throat lozenges but they don't seem to be helping a great deal. Are there any tricks to relief swelling (I have swelling in my right tonsil) and pain? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you who are 19- who are expecting, or had a baby - how did your parents react when you told them? Happy, Sad, Disappointed?

Also was your pregnancy planned? If so, why did you want to have a baby at this young age? What about your future? College etc?

This one spot on my left butt cheek keeps twitching. I know there's nothing seriously wrong with me, but I need to know how to make it STOP! It can happen anywhere from every second to once a minute. It's VERY annoying.

Long story short: When I was about 8 I got pulled out by a rip tide in Florida, I don't even remember how far out I got, I just remember that I couldn't see the people on the beach anymore. For those of you who don't know about rip tides it's wear the water basically drags you out, no matter how hard you swim against it; It sort of felt like I was trying to swim away while someone was dragging me out to sea by my legs. The only way I managed to get out of it was because they had posted an article in the newspaper earlier that day about how to survive a rip tide, swim parallel to the water yada yada. I don't know how long I was out there for, 20 minutes maybe? My grandfather was SUPPOSED to be watching me, but he fell asleep on the beach. I had swallowed a lot of water and my throat hurt for days...

Well, anyways, I CAN go in the water now, but my feet have to be touching. I have swum out to buoys with parents or friends, but the whole time my heart is being very face and I basically start having a mini panic attack.

I'm not scared of anything IN the water (I've learned a lot about marine animals and they don't frighten me) just of the water itself.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get over my fear, I'm going to Cancun with my family in a couple of days and I really want to have a good time.

P.S usually I can only feel safe swimming at my cape cod house.

There are lots of complaints about President Obama. I am fairly involved in politics myself, and I know that many of the complaints are about Obama's lack of action. Although Obama does some things he has promised, he has yet to do many things. I would just like to point out that he has been in office for less than a year, and that it is impossible for any one man to change a country so quickly. I would like to know, why you feel the way you do about the President. I do not want any responses from new time voters who are upset because their first President Elect isn't superman.

Me and my BFF (it's a guy), we want to go trick or treating this year as really random things. Inanimate objects, but we want to be related. Like mustard and ketchup or something.
