Are the rooms of recovery equivalent to temple or hospital? Does the program pull back to "normal" a person who begins to go beyond self-actualization to more refined states of consciousness? Does the program produce enlightenment / salvation / promised land / great work / upper worlds / call it what you will? Or is the program so full of dogma that it too must be left behind in search of ultimate truth?

How have banks evolved? How did they start? What would the economy be like without banks? Would that even be possible? Could banks be more/less regulated? Are banks really in competition with each other? My mom is pres. of business banking @ PNC--we've gotten into it over banks. I would love positive, negative & analytic sides to this issue~~

In the ancient world, mythos and logos were considered to be mutually exclusive means of thought. In the modern world, it seems these have become muddled. This muddling creates meaningless arguments. How can we separate these and how does this separation apply to science and religion?

In other words, which hinders awakening the most + helps the least up to hinders least + helps most. and how?

When will science admit Meaning and the non-physical as necessary to Truth? When will the new age admit the necessity of scientific rigor (math, even!!) and realize that a paper written by person with 20+ years study and disciplined practice (in kabbalah, physics, yoga, biology, all-of-these, etc.) should be given more weight of consideration than a paper from a dream or daydream or wherever these new agers get their stuff?

By putting forth some tax dollars into television stations, city discussion halls and, of course, the internet, i believe we could make a very pheasable system of direct democracy. Is there any other answer to the ever growing levels of corruption which transform this country from the republic it once was into oligarchy?
