Our IEP for our son is going to expire on 12/18/2011 and the school is trying to have a placement meeting this Monday. We were given our WPN. Shouldn't we have an IEP meeting and then the placement?

I am getting ready for a very important IEP Meeting dated for Monday at 2:30 pm 9/26. I am reaching out to you (sorry for the short notice) to see if you could possible lend me a hand. I was hoping because we are former classmates that you would be willing to help. I am kind of stressed and overloaded with meetings before the meeting. Getting all the outside staff to meet with the school staff. To get everyone on the same page with some common goals.

I NEED TO FIND THE PERCENTAGE OF THE TIME SPENT WHERE....

for example 60% resouce room 101 10% bathroom 35% sensory....these are not the right numbers.

I appreciate your help.

What is an appropriate homework assignment for a child with autism in Second Grade at a pre-school level. Why do I have to ask the teacher for homework? The school says it isn't the normal to give special education kids homework, because it is more work for the parents to do. I want my child to have homework and get into the routine of coming home from school and doing 2 or 3 worksheets. We read everynight 20 minutes or more and I never see reading sheets come home from the school. I know that the other children participate in reading programs with rewards shouldn't my child have the same access?

He sleeps 3 hours here and there. odd hours. Goes to bed at 8pm. Can wake up as early as 11 pm and stay up all night and day until 11pm the next day. very restless sleeping. Wakes up frequently.
