  • Adjusting the volume for different speakers...?

    Friend of mine has a pub. He has speakers in the pub garden and speakers in the bar/food area. With the summer coming up (we hope) the garden speakers will come into action once again. The problem is that to get the outdoor speakers to an audiable level, the people in the pub seem to get blasted.

    In order to control this i'm looking for a splitter/thing of some sort that enables you to adjust the volume for the two sets of speakers independantly. I know these things are available, but without knowing what they are called i'm having trouble googling them. If you know what they are called, could you answer here please.

  • Software to list/diplay and link to a directory structure.?

    Im looking for a cheap or free bit of software that you can point at a directory and it lists all the files, showing which sub-directory they are in, and provides you with an HTML index.

  • Assigning a drive letter for a canon camera?

    With a fresh install of XP, a lot of canon cameras just get picked up as "scanners and cameras" by the OS. I need to assign a drive letter to it, but cannot see how.

    Computer management does not show the drive to assign a letter, and not NOT ALL cameras show up as a drive by default. That is a common missunderstanding.

    So.. any ideas?

  • I want to see the camera as a removable drive and not a camera, but how?

    My PC (XP) is recognising the camera, and displaying it as an attached camera. This would normally be fine, but I need to use an app that requires it to be a removable drive. How can i change the settings so that it sees it as a removavle drive?

  • Re-Installing XP - Freezes during the formatting of the hard drive?

    Whether i choose to do a quick format or long format it just seems to do nothing.. any ideas.

    I have tried deleting the partition and creating a new one, and this does not seem to change anything..

    I guess one alternative is to boot from a cd to a command prompt (like the old win98 boot disks) and format it manually? but where can i get these from. I am at home on another laptop and have no floppy drive here. Whatever the solution, it needs to be able ot work from cd rom and boot from it too.
