I want to see the camera as a removable drive and not a camera, but how?

Some cameras, especially those from Kodak, can be a pain in the... butt when it comes to doing things old skool (as a removable drive).

Often times, the software will only let the camera be recognized as a CAMERA, used for taking and uploading pictures only to it's own software.

If this is the case, you'll have to uninstall the software. If this leads to the camera not being detected at all, then re-install the software and try to find a memory card reader that plugs into your USB (You can pick them up at places like Future Shop for around 30$). This eliminates the camera's power over your pictures! >=]

If none of this works, then it may be something as simple as needing a certain setting to be switched on the camera.
