  • Ted Cruz is a Canadian, right?

So... Ted Cruz was born in Canada. How is it even possible for him to be President of the United States?

Why are Republicans letting this slide? They had a two year long campaign demanding Obama prove he was born in the U.S!

Is it possible to be more hypocritical?

  • NGK LTR5GP Gaps Cavalier 2003?

So I bought some spark plugs and by reading around found out that NGK's are racing spark plugs (?) and I may need to gap them.

On Amazon it says that the GAP for my car is 0.44 but I can't find anything about the GAP on or in the spark plug package.

Are they set already? or do I need to buy more stuff?

  • 3 years without changing spark plugs?

I haven't changed my spark plugs in 3 years (I think they're the normal copper type) ... bad good?

What happens if you don't change them? Do they show symptoms? (if so what are the symptoms) or do they just up and die without warning?

  • What could be causing this problem?

    Hi,

I have an 05 Cavalier and yesterday this sputtering I've had has become very pronounced. When I was at a traffic light the car went into an extremely rough idle the lights would dim (headlights, dash all of them) and the RPM would drop and then REV and then drop again, acceleration was slow but once it got above 30KM/H there was no problems at all no dim lights, no dim dash, no problems whatsoever.

This morning I started the car and the same thing happened... idling extremely rough but not as much electric problems, but, the car hesitates to accelerate - in fact the acceleration is unpredictable - like I will force the pedal and then out of nowhere the car instantly starts accelerating but then slows and then back up again.

Also I opened the hood to listen and it's very timed... it's like - vroom, vroom, vroom, bump, vroom, vroom, vroom, bump. The "bump" sounds like it the engine stops or something and the middle of the engine jumps.

The car has 157K on it, could this be the Spark Plugs? I don't think they've ever been changed in the lifetime of the car.

    Or is it something else?

    Thanks!

  • Can surgery reduce the size of my Penis?

    Hello,

Are there any medical techniques that exist today to reduce the size of a human penis? (I am circumsized.)

If there are... could you please briefly mention what the possible side effects may be? For example, would the scaring be a permanent issue? Would it effect my ability to urinate... Could it in the future?

    Thanks.

  • Credit card confusion?

    Hi,

I got my first credit card and spent some money on it, I'm having a little difficulty understanding the 'conditions' though, in regards to payment.

I used the card on the 20th of Nov and it says my statement is Dec 14... But it says 'minimum' 0.00 and payable now 0.00

Does this mean that what I have on balance will have 21 days to be paid from Dec 14, or is it just a computer error and my grace period has been ticking since I used the card and everything or minimum is due on Dec 14 even though it says 0.00?

    Thanks!

  • Does Alcohol speed up the aging process?

Now I know alcohol does not 'literally' make you older I would like to know if it can possibly make a person look older than they actually are.

I ask because I am a very light drinker until the age of 28 I rarely had any alcohol and by rarely I mean perhaps 1 beer per year! On the other hand a lot of my friends have been moderate/heavy drinks since highschool and although some look their age some look at least 4-5 years older.

So does alcohol make a person look older faster?

    Thanks.

  • Wisdom tooth extraction procedures?

I would like to know if X-rays are 'always' required when removing teeth? - I despise X-rays and would rather not have one taken before I have this tooth removed.

I understand why X-ray's must be taken when the wisdom tooth has not impacted (is not out) but when it has broken through the gums (like mine) is an X-ray still required?

    Thanks for the answers.

  • Should hitler get some credit for what turned out to be true?

Do you feel that it is socially acceptable to admire adolf hitler's views on substance abuse? Keep in mind that at the time his view against Cocaine, Alcohol and Tobacco was 'out there' however for the most part the man was correct - Should he at least get credit for those things?

    1. Tobacco big vice and killer.

    2. Alcohol now a proven grade 1 carcinogen (http://alcoholism.about.com/cs/cancer/a/aa000520.h...

    3. Do I really need to explain Cocaine and why it's been proven bad?

  • Why are people fascinated with tyrants?

Why are people always fascinated with tyrants? - For example, we all know who Julius Caesar and Adolf Hitler or Napoleon were... But people have a hard time naming the "good" people in history - such as the Gracchi (Tiberius) Phillip the fair, Henry VIII etc etc...

Why is it that people seem to adore tyrants?

  • Is a draft/conscription - contrary to freedom?

In nations where we are constantly bombarded by the words "freedom" and "democracy" (even in those which are Republics) is the mandatory slavery law known as conscription contrary to our creed?

For instance if a nation says that it runs off of the will of the people, would it then make sense to say that if persons are not willing to volunteer in a specific military campaign that they, they people have spoken?

If the power to drag individuals into war, with or without their consent lays solely in the hands of politicians - what is the difference between our forms of state and that of dictatorships and other totalitarian systems?

In reality it would seem that the people have very little input into what actually goes on in terms of law, and indeed policy.

So if we had monarchy as opposed to "democracy" for instance.. It would not even be a big change.

  • Muscle Spasms after sit ups?

Hello, I am 25 and not in very good shape - I am not obese nor am I a drug or alcohol user, I simply lead a very stationary life.

Anyways, since I understand that I cannot constantly be sitting at home and then again at work, I decided to do some sit ups, however I decided to start at 60 rather than a smaller amount...

After I was done I sat up and got this .. pain which felt like a twitching of muscles just on the left side underneath my belly. - It has also been on the right side, since this is the second time this has happened.

Besides that I feel normal and the twitching only lasts about 10 seconds - after it's gone the side feels dull, but it leaves pretty quick as it came.

The question is, should I stretch before I start working out? Should I start out with less sit ups?

Oh yes last thing, I have done this before with no problems 60 per day for about one month - but I started out with only 20 sit ups per day for about 1 week.
