I have a female cat that I adopted from a shelter; she's about 2 years old. I''m at work during the day, and then I spend about an hour or so playing with she and her sister when I get home to tire them out. I live in the middle of the city in an apartment, so I can't let them out for fear that they'll get run over. Normally, they sleep through the night, but for the past week they've both turned nocturnal and are full of energy. I can't let them into my room because they jump all over the place and knock things over keeping me awake, but if I shut them out, one of them will claw at the carpet. I need to find a solution before I lose my deposit. Cat experts, please help!

I used to ride my bike everyday, but I really can't do that now. I tried doing Pilates but a lot of the positions are just too challenging with one arm. I don't have a gym membership so I can't use any fancy machines, and I feel like walking is just too boring. Is it safe for me to go running? Other suggestions?

I mean someone who actually has bad red-eye in real life, like on the whites of their eyes, not red irises. If someone knows a link to a great tutorial that will do fine. Thanks!

I've been quite depressed lately because my grades in school have been slipping, and I've always equated my self worth with my grades. I got drunk tonight and punched myself all over my body over and over again. Is this a sign of worse things to come?

Seriously, I am quite poor.

Before you tear my head off . . . my kitten of 7 months went into her first heat a few days ago, so I made an appointment to get her spayed this Saturday. However today, upon arriving home from work, I found her outside of my apartment sitting with some tom cat, she had pushed the screen out of the window in order to escape. I don't have the time to care for kittens. I'm just curious what my options here are. Thanks.

What led me to this conclusion is the fact that since I've started at a University, I've been doing very poorly. I went to a pretty crappy high school, and I've always been able to do minimal work and still get excellent grades. Now, things have changed and I need to focus and study constantly in order to do well. However, it's like I'm incapable. I set the time aside, and go to the library, and I can't focus on anything for more than maybe 20 minutes. In class I can't seem to pay attention for very long, and always begin to daydream. I want to be successful, and it's gotten to the point where I'm incredibly frustrated with myself. My family feels that ADD is something that one can get over without drugs, and that drugs are a lazy way to solve a problem and leave you dependent. I don't know what other solutions there are.

A pretty good friend of mine confessed his love for me while drunk, but then never mentioned it after that night. It's obvious he's attracted to me, but I'm not sure if it's anything more.
