1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans6 years agoHow to tell someone that they talk too much?
My roommate is a nice person. She always goes out of her way to become friends with ppl but sometimes she does not see the cues that someone does not want to be friends with her or at that moment they do not want to talk to her. We just moved into a dorm and our suitemates are best friends. They are nice but one of them is always with her boyfriend and sometimes my roommate walks into their room to talk but you can sense that they want privacy. She sometimes goes overboard and she does not know when to stop. How can I explain that to her? Last year ppl disliked her for the same reason and I do not want her to get hurt.

1 AnswerSkin Conditions6 years agoWhat would be a good laptop for a college student? Please no Apple?
I am getting a laptop for my birthday. I honestly do not want them to buy me something that is expensive. The reason I say no apple is because I know that they are going to come out with a new model, so I would like to buy my own computer when I have the money. The computer I have now is slow and starting to break apart. I am not into gaming, I just need it for school work (I am a psych major), watch videos, and web browsing. For my documents I mostly save it on a flash drive or Google docs

4 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoHow would i solve this integral: integral 2dx/ x^2+1?
The answer is 2arctanx+C. I thought the answer would include Ln absolute but it does not. How do you know when to use tan inverse and ln absolute.
2 AnswersMathematics6 years agoWhat are the steps to solve this: integral of 11 tan^4( x) * sec^6 (x) dx? substitution: u =tanx?
Would someone mind doing the steps by step. I know how to do it when the powers are the same but I do not know if there is a different way to do it when the powers are different. Do you do the same with what you do when the powers are odd and take one out and convert the other?

1 AnswerFinancial Aid6 years agoBinomial Probability and Acceptance Sampling?
A pharmaceutical uses an acceptance sampling plan: Randomly select and test 40 tablets, then accept the whole batch if there is only one or none that doesn't meet the required specifications. If one shipment of 5000 aspirin tablets actually has a 3% rate of defects, what is the probability that this whole shipment will be accepted?
I know the answer is .669 but I do not know how to get it.

1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture7 years agoCan you get fired for calling out?
I worked for stop and shop for about a year. Right now I am in college, so I asked my manager at my old job if I can transfer to the stop and shop by my school. So I got transfered and I told my new employer the days I can work, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 am to 3pm and 9am to 5pm. I was not on the sceduale for two weeks,so I would just come on those days to work. When I finally was on the schedule, I saw that the manager puts me on Thursday but I am in school all day, so I tell him buy he still puts me on Thursday. On Tuesday I asked if I can have off on Saturday and he said it's okay. The head manager called me today to ask why I did not come into work but I am suppose to be off. My manager picked a random day that I can come in since I can't work Saturday. Can you get fired for calling out? I am part of a union and have worked for the company for a year. I even asked the kid who works with me if he is going to come to work on Saturday and he said yes, so there will be someone there. What I do is cut fruit, one person can do the work but they always have two people cutting.
