  • Neck tattoo, in the fire fighters academy. Am I wasting my time and money?

I'm becoming a emt at my local fire academy at the moment. I get into the firemans portion in 2 more months. The thing is I have a neck tattoo. It's on my lower neck on the right side. It's a clown, pretty dark looking. But that's just my style. Can I get hired in the state of Florida with my neck tatted up? Or am I wasting my time and have to accet I'll never hold a respectable job?

  • I'm a freestyle wrestler, no more scholastic wrestling. How to maintain weight at new weight class?

I currently finished wrestling at my junior college. Currently seeking to be a wrestling coach in the near future. However, I need to gain more experience as I'm only 22 years old and started wrestling when I got into my freshman year of college. I joined a wrestling club and now compete in mens freestyle wrestling. But I gained a lot of weight since I last wrestled in college last year. I train in powerlifting as well and now weigh 195, which means I have to wrestle at 185. I used to wrestle in the 160s. Being in a higher weight class, is it smarter to be 10 to 15 lbs heavier walking around? Or should I be walking around at about 5 pounds over?

  • Really want to become a boxer but this one thing is holding me back?

I really want to become a boxer, I love the sport. I'm a big roy jones jr fan, also fight as a south paw. Im 21 now but I was training at one gym earlier this year when I was 20. I only weigh 158 pounds and the trainer put me up to spar against a 220 pound guy for my first sparring session. I was knocked down due to a vicious body shot and was completely embarrassed. I was so embarrassed that I never went back to that gym again. However, I found a new boxing gym right by my house. I just have this doubt and fear in my mind and embarrassment trapped in my head. Is there any advice any one can give me on how I can over come all this and get back into boxing again?
