I am applying to universities now. I have to select a bachelors degree. I don't know whether I should select a 4 years Bachelors in Architecture not 5 years degree or a Computer and a Electrical Engineering program(dual major) and then go for the post professional degree in Architecture that is a 3 years graduate degree. I am not interested in joining a architecture firm nor starting one but I am interested in real estate development and would like to make buildings and houses and sell them.
Later on I would like to get an MBA degree after obtaining the 2 degrees mentioned above but that would be like too long and my country doesn't offer a 5 years bachelors degree. What should I do? Please provide me some suggestions. I need your help.
I appreciate it.
Thanks.

I have to select a bachelors degree for a university and I have very less time to apply. I am very interested in Architecture but I am not interested in joining and working at an Architectural firm not I don't wanna start one. I am interested in real estate development business like making buildings and selling them for huge. The problem is the non professional architecture degree that is either 4 years or a professional architecture degree that is 5 years or a Masters degree in architecture that is 3 years(post professional). The curriculum is nearly similar to both undergraduate(specifically 4 years) and the professional degree(5 years B.Arch) or the post professional degree(M.Arch). How should I decide which one to select and which is better? I mean both have nearly the same courses in the syllabus. I just don't get which to select.
Thanks.
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoPressure on studies.?
I am very much interested in Business and would like to study an undergraduate degree in Business. My mother has been insisting me to study architecture because she didn't get a chance to study architecture. She insisted me too much to study architecture. I like architecture but not too much. It is just that there are 5 years of undergraduate studies, 3 years of internships and a low paying salary and you need to study for an license exam to start up your own firm plus hours of stressing work. With my mother insisting me to study architecture, its like she has planted the word " study architecture" in my mind and I am unable to take it off my mind. It has been two years and it is still bugging me making me feel like I will regret it if I don't study architecture. Damn it. What should I do and how do I get it outta my mind?
2 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoMBA(Masters in Business Administration) from Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Oxford etc?
Is an MBA worth it? What is the difference between an BBA(Bachelors in Business Administration) and an MBA? I know that its an undergraduate degree and a graduate degree respectively but which one is better and why? It seems like people are wanting to get an MBA from top institutions like Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Oxford, INSEAD etc. Why is MBA more popular than BBA?

1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoVenture Capital firms?
I plan to start a business and I have a great business idea but I don't have enough money to start up a business. I am thinking of going to a venture capitalist or a venture capital firm. The thing is that, before I go there, I would like to know if they offer interest rates cause according to my religion dealing with interest rates is prohibited in my religion and I don't want to displease my God. So I just wanna know.
Thanks
3 AnswersCorporations7 years agoArchitecture, BSc vs B.Arch vs BA?
I am interested in Architecture. The problem is that B.Arch degree is a 5 year program so it would be too long for me while BSc/BA in Architecture from the UK is a 3 year degree program so it sounds like a better choice for me. Actually I am not interested in pursuing a Master in Architecture cause I'm interested in business too and would like to get a MBA from Harvard, Yale etc. Which would be better B.Arch(from some other country) BSc(from UK) or BA(from UK)? Is there any differences besides the duration of the program?
2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)7 years agoArchitecture degree.?
I am very interested in high/low rise buildings, mansions, Hotels, resorts, homes etc. I love Architecture. I was thinking of getting a Masters in Architecture(M.Arch). I heard that you need a license to practice architecture on your own and can start up your own firm. I am not interested in starting up my own firm. I am loaded enough. I am just interested in just buying lands to flip them or buy a huge land and build homes etc. Is it possible to do that without a license. You know like a real estate business.

I am very interested in Architecture and would like to pursue a degree in Architecture. I am just confused whether to pursue a bachelors degree in Architecture or a Masters in Architecture. I heard that bachelors is 5 years while the Masters is 2 if you have a undergraduate degree in Architecture or 3 years if you have an undergraduate degree in any other field. I also heard that you need a Masters degree in Architecture to obtain a license to practice anywhere. Is this true? A undergraduate degree in Architecture will not give you an license. I am confused.
I am not interested in joining an architecture firm. Me and my dad is highly loaded. Well, my dad is wayy more loaded than me. I mean I am loaded enough to buy a 100 million bucks house either in Malibu or NY or anywhere like a collection as an investment like Larry Ellison does. Lol. I just could buy a land and design it under my style and the way I want and sell it or keep it.
Honestly, I am 20 years old and still confused whether I should pursue a undergraduate degree in Architecture or of some other field and pursue a Master degree in Architecture after obtaining an undergraduate degree in some other field.
Thanks.
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)7 years agoAccounting Degree? Why is it so popular and rewarding?
There are lots of business degrees which are very popular such as MBA. MBA does have accounting but "Bachelors in Accounting", why is it so popular and rewarding? Why is it really so rewarding? What do you get out of it? Give examples too(to support your arguments). It is not a essay. I just wanna know why accounting is so popular and very rewarding?
3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)8 years agoElon Musk and Tony Stark's mind?
Tony Stark from Iron Man is a fictional character and Elon Musk is a real person. He invents lots of things. He doesn't have a engineering degree. How can he invent pretty cool techs?
What engineering knowledge do you need to invent something? I don't really have that technical mind like Tony Stark and Elon Musk. I love technology and would like to invent something. I cannot invent something at home(my family is not that wealthy) but I have lots of ideas and would like to invent something. I am gonna start university in less than a year. Should I major in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering/Computer Science?
Give me some answers about these guys mentioned above too.
Thanks

2 AnswersEconomics8 years agoHigh school subjects to study to study Business?
I am an A-Level Student. I am very interested in Business and I would like to major in Business. I did some research for the requirements to study Business in the Universities. I found out that in order to study business in the university, a student need High level maths including Calculus, Statistics, English, a science subject like Physics. I also heard that the best major in high school for a business major is math. Is it really true? Or do I need to study business subjects such as Accounting, Economics? I heard that high school students in the United States study those subjects mentioned above and take a couple of communication classes too and major in business field like Accounting, Economics in top notch universities like Stanford, Harvard etc.
Do I have to study those business subjects?

My SAT score is 1860 and I'm giving TOEFL. I plan to get in to Harvard University. What are the requirements to get into Harvard University to study BBA. I have seen many students in Pakistan and India taking up commerce subjects such as Accouting, Economics and Business and have enrolled into a University with a BBA program in Pakistan and India but I heard that such universities require excellent scores in Mathematics and English and an excellent score in SAT and IELTS or TOEFL? Is this true? Would you give me some information and the requirements and what else am I missing etc?

My parents are getting me an internet connection on my cell phone so that I can use it for Whatsapp, Facebook, Facebook Messenger etc. They are going to setup a data plan and will not give me unlimited internet. They are going to give me like 1MB, 2MB, 5MB, 10MB, 30MB etc. Do you think these MBs I have mentioned are sufficient enough for the whole one day or more than a day. My parents told me to find out about this. What do you think? How much MBs do I need? Please help me. Thanks.
