98 wrangler se with nv231 t case.what fluid do i use?

i have a 98 jeep wrangler 2.5 SE with a bad cam knock.probably have to rebuild the head

i have a jeep with a bad cam or rod knock it knocks with idle cold or hot oil pressure always the same as before knock.that tells me it can be repaired and no real bad internal dammage is done yet.the vehicle in question is now off the road.if i do the cam i might as well do the rods and rings also.but i never went this far into an engine any help/experance is usefull.also how much will i look at paying

after i had the crank shaft positioning sensor replaced i was on the inter state and dropped a gear and put pedal to floor.i got up to 70mph and engine started knocking from near the back where the block meets the trany around where the cam is
