I have a float tube and i live in the bay area. I catch bass but i only catch them on dropshot. Thats it ive tried senkos, jigs, a bunch of creature plastics (d bombs and other stuff) Im asking if u could fish only one thing what would it be? Like your go to bait to catch em. I know that bass fishing is bout color and whats working that day. But im looking for one go to bait or something.

Im going to camp in Utica reservoir in California. I wanna know how to catch the trout in there. They don't plant them, there all native from streams and rivera that flow in. Theres also a ton of bullhead catfish in there so fishing with night-crawlers would be hard. Also i don't own a fly rod i want to take camping so thats out the question. Ive caught a lot of trout before, i just want some advice. Thank you guys!

I have this reel but i got it on some shitty old bait caster rod. I'm looking for a rod that can handle some Texas rig fishing, senko fishing, other soft plastics, and even crankbaits. I know i shouldn't use crankbaits on this rod but i fish in a float tube. I can only really carry 3 rods, one for drop shot, for one for small swimbaits and heavy jigs and this one. Being able to throw crabkbaits with this rod isn't a must. Thats no big deal. I want it to have great sensitivity, med hvy, i dont want to use a broomstick or a feather. Somewhere between that lol.

Im using a 3000 Sahara with a med act tourney-7 bass pro rod. I love the rod and hate the reel. It works okay with catfish but the drag sucks for bass, i tighten it all the way damn near just so the hook actually gets set. The line gets pulled out by tiny fish still Its not smooth. Anyways I'm looking for a new reel but jus not too much money like 60-110ish.

i have a 4000 pen fierce that i'm going to be using for catfish and MAYBE some bass. (probably not) i want a med hvy pole that will hold up to 1 once or maybe a little bit more. i might get a heavy action as long as is feels almost like a medium heavy. I don't want no broomstick. Under 60 bucks preferably shoot me a link of it on the answer please.

I recently acquired a caddis u shapped float tube. and i was wondering if i could put it back in the box after i use it. is it bad for the float tube? i wouldn't wanna take any chances

i don't plan on fly fishing i'm not to good at that. I was just going to throw worms and salmon eggs out and try and catch a rainbow. someone told me that there is no bait fishing is that true? if so could i throw some artificial lures and catch them? like spoons j7s spinners and stuff, i just wanna catch fish, any thing that you can recommend?

Alright, catfish season is coming up and i need a pole and a reel. It has to be around 100$ I also want to use it in the ocean and catch leopard sharks bat rays and probably strippers. I'm going to put braid on it. I don't want it to be heavy and not to light most of the fun is the fight they put up. I'll more then likely be getting it at bass pro, so it would help if you guys could pick some poles and reels from there.

It's really sensitive and you could detect any slight hit. I would be using very light braid like 6 maybe 8 because braids really thin. I would also be using mono leader because they have sensitive mouths. sliding sinker setup.

Should i get the ct200b or the ct200gtb i'm probably going to be use it for crank baits,swim baits, and some other fast retrieve stuff. which one should i get and what rod should i pare it up with and some crankbaits you like? just everything you want to give
