Now that I think about it atheism has nothing to do with spirituality or religion. Why am I even here? We need our own forum so we can have real discussions with other atheists instead of just trolling the theists. I mean we troll the theists really well don't get me wrong, but I'd like to have real discussions sometimes. Also maybe theists wouldn't strawman us as much if we had our own forum. Idk it'd be a good experiment. How to we requisition our own forum??

I would like to know each and everyone's way they define life, and what its purpose is. Mine is - for non sentient life, to associate with all other forms of life and try to evolve their species into sentient beings. For sentient life, to transcend nature itself (through machines or inventions). What is yours? Holding no bias towards religious or non-religious people, just give your best answers!

No unfounded evidence or stuff you make up. Also no references to the Bible Torah or Qur'an I don't consider ancient texts from uneducated eras proof. It needs to be tested by some sort of scientific model. Circular logic is a no go. Remember extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!!

If you woke up and saw several drones flying above your city, went to go protest down at city hall, got stopped at a check point. When you get to city hall instead of talking to council members you got sprayed with rubber bullets or tear gas. When you get home you check various news channel to see what is going on and see an anchor talking about how children who want public schooling now have to be chipped in order to keep "medical records". "Domestic terrorists" trying to stop the 2012 convention arrested in large numbers. The rise in terrorism has called for a gun check on certain residents. HONESTLY, what would you do? This is to American's but if you want to speculate on your countries government for lulz feel free.

I propose a new religion. One in which only happens in the future. That way when the time comes around we can make all of it true, then everyone has to believe it even further into the future. If you still refuse you will freeze for all eternity and suffer in krell (trademark). I am also the god of this religion. It is about time I get the unquestionable devotion I so deserve. I understand everything up to the fifth dimension. Then I just face palm as I can kind of think (speculate) about how observing the 4th dimension would be like, all particles in every plane of existence at once (timeless) as well new particles that we can't comprehend and may even effect our dimension like dark energy/dark matter as well timelessness accounting for the direction of time that we observe here. And I know I couldn't actually comprehend structures in any of those dimensions but I can just think of the possibilities of things that are possible within them (the physical laws or something of that sort). How would I even start to try and do this for the 5th, 6th, and so on. Layman's terms are not needed please provide thorough answers and sources if possible. As well this is all theoretical. It hurts my brain not being able to comprehend and I need people who are more informed on the subject TO PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEE

What would be the most efficient way to end bigotry besides executions on a mass scale? Just ways to stop oppressing people with their personal conviction and have people go by what we know in reality... I know it is kind of contradictory but there has to be some way to stop the blind intolerance which is based mainly off of religious preference but subject to other things like politics or ideologies etc.

I have problems sleeping even if I'm tired and whenever I do get to sleep I want to sleep as long as possible. Also, during the day when I am able to get up I'm really lazy and rather absorb in electronics or ponder to myself. I'm joining the army soon and while I'm really good at adapting to changes and am naturally overly fit (extremely high metabolism) I'm afraid I have to many lazy habits that will throw me off my game and hinder my potential. I'm more of a night person too.. So I was just wondering what are some multiple things I can do to get my sleep cycle to get me up early and not feel really groggy. As well I'd also like a boost of energy throughout the day so I can be more active and want to get out more. I don't want to resort to chemical things like energy drinks but I will do whatever is necessary to achieve me goals in the end. So that outline being set can you list some things that increase my output during the day and help me sleep better at night and possibly wake up more refreshed. Also when I do manage to wake up early I run with my border collie so I exercise enough and that really isn't the issue. My issue is my schedule + energy efficiency to enact my schedule or goals. Could this be some sort of melatonin reversal that causes this effect? All input is welcome :)
