  • Did MacBook got any better?

    Hello. A few years ago I bought a MacBook Pro OS X version 10.6.8 with 2.53GHz intel core duo, 4GB memory.

    I used it every single day for work and at this point my power supply is all chewed (thanks to my cat), the DVD players stopped working a while back, I had to kind of DIY fix my track pad and the casing is damaged. All that to say the day I need a new one is getting close lol.

    I really mac laptops but if I'm to buy a new one I would like to first confirm there was an upgrade in technology over the last few years with those machine. Are they faster, better and all today or are they still offering machine about the same as what I have in term of power?

  • Battery Problem on a Laredo Jeep 2006?

    Hello

    Long story short, I often have a flat battery problem and need a boost (happened 3 times in 2 months)

    First time I know it was my light still on. I just thought those turn off automatically, I guess I was wrong.

    Second time it happen I don't know. I don't think anything was left on but I couldn't say for sure.

    Third time I know for sure nothing was left on. The vehicle has just been sitting there for a week and when I tried to start it the battery was dead.

    I played taking with my multimeter today. Here are the results so far:

    1) with vehicle turned off I get a reading of 12.65 v

    2) with vehicle turned off and light turned on I get a reading of 12.25 v

    3) with vehicle turned on I get a reading that seem to go from 14.10 to 14.50

    The result when turned on plus the fact the check battery light does not turn on tells me the alternator is ok. Am I right to come to that conclusion?

    Anything else those results tells us? I do not know how old the battery is as I bought the vehicle 4 months ago. It does not look too old though.

    Any info you can come up with to help me find the problem will be much appreciated. Thx
