  • Looking for a song, only lyrics to go from are "Let's Go!", modern Rock/Indie style.?

There is this advertisement at the Washington Square Mall in Oregon that plays a 10-15 second clip of a song that I'm trying to find (if it really exists). It's got a modern Rock/Indie kind of vibe to it, and it sounds like it's primarily drums, guitar and maybe a tambourine and it all builds up to the "Let's Go!", followed by a couple more seconds of just music. That's it.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

  • How do I get the cat to stop scratching at the door?

    Here's the situation:

Usually the cat (my boyfriend's cat) has free rein of the house at night (except the bathroom because he plays with the cupboards and wakes me up), but he has a tendency of walking on me or my boyfriend when we're sleeping and he wants food/attention.

I just recently (1 week ago exactly) had an operation on my stomach (his favorite spot to walk on for me), so I've had to shut him out of the room at night so as not to risk him causing me pain at night. Unfortunately, because I have to use a wedge to sleep on because laying flat is still too painful (and impossible for me to get up), my boyfriend also sleeps in the living room.

We have a one bedroom apartment, which we rent, and he has 2 scratching posts (which he uses regularly), one giant mouse (which has a scratch pad on it's back and is covered in catnip), several balls and a few other toys to play with in the living room. He even has a brand new pet bed which I laid my softest (and warmest) throw on so he had a nice, warm place to sleep (as it is winter in Oregon). My boyfriend is on a schedule of feeding him around 10pm and around 8-10am, so he's not without food and water at night, and this is not the first time we've shut him out of the bedroom.

Yet, still, this morning I get woken up to him scratching at the bedroom door for 20 minutes. I have a very hard time sleeping because of the narcotics I'm on, I can't afford to be woken up prematurely and have to deal with being unable to fall back to sleep, I'm already not healing properly because I can't get enough rest.

I love this cat, but if he wakes me up one more time I fear I might kick the damn thing (not literately, of course, but it's the extent of my frustrations). Does anyone have any advice for me?

We already do the squirt bottle thing when he scratches on the furniture or at the wash room closet, and it's yet to get him to stop. The apartment is rather small, so his scratching posts are already pretty close.

I've read through all of the similar posts like this already but I haven't found anything manageable for me.

LIMITATIONS: I rent, so I cannot do anything permanent or potentially permanent to the door, I can't make too much noise because it'll wake my boyfriend (and he's the only one that can work right now, and he works 10 hour shifts), and I won't do any sprays or anything that he might try to lick off himself later that could be potentially harmful to his health.

I just need him to stop waking me up and damaging a door that is already going to come out of my deposit unless we get lucky and they don't notice (it's currently minimal damage).

  • I have gallstones and trouble digesting vegetables?

My doctor said to go on a low-fat diet, so naturally I assumed fresh fruits and vegetables was a good idea. However my dinner last night is keeping me up because my body doesn't seem to be digesting the veggies (a problem I've never had before). I have a surgery scheduled for a week from now, but I'd like to be comfortable in the meantime. Can anyone suggest a solution, or a reason for why this is happening?

  • What is a good philosophical question to discuss?

I have an assignment for a presentation in Philosophy. It has to be a narrowed topic which I can provide background and my personal few on in a 5 minute presentation.

Here's the one and only condition; It has to be related to either Metaphysics or Epistemology, as those are the prime topics of our class.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
