I used to get Charlie horses really bad as a kid, and my grandmother would always put some kind of purple muscle rub on my legs.  It was in a small, round jar (about 2 or 3 inches tall) with a white lid. I think the label was gold.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?   If so, do you know the name and if it's still around? 

P.S.  All of the grands have passed, so I can't ask any of them, and no one in my family can remember the name. (We always just called it "the purple stuff"!)

I was out of town for awhile and sometime during that time my freezer went out. I had four turkeys in there! My house smells horrible. I've cleaned the freezer out, took it outside and hosed it down. I've also opened all the windows to air out the house. I threw the turkeys in my trash bin but it's still several days before the next pick up. How do I get the smell out of my house? And, how do I keep the trash bins from stinking up the whole neighborhood?

I am not looking for a website where discouraged and disgruntled workers are telling horror stories and ranting. What I am looking for is a site full of resources, ideas, and advice. If you know of a good one, please let me know.

I have a Confucius says pin that my Grandfather gave my son. It is has a bust of Confucius with a little book hanging from it that has a paper that folds out with a message inside. I have found one other on EBay that is listed for $109.99, however that one has actual Confucius sayings in it. The one that we have says, "HE WHO BUYS OK'D USED CAR FROM CHEVROLET SALESMAN IN JUNE GETS HELLUVA GOOD BARGAIN." (In red lettering)

I know that it was a promotional item but I also know that it is very old. I am wondering if it is worth anything to antique collectors and if there is a market for these sort of novelty items.

I worked in a steady job for many years until they did lay-offs and my position was cut. I took my severance pay and moved to the Caribbean for about a year and a half. I came back to the US for 6 months to be with family and also worked part-time as a cashier at Wal-Mart while I was here. After that I left the country for another year.

I am now back in the US for good and am looking for a new job, hopefully in a different field than before. The part-time job is not relevant to the job that I am seeking.......So do I have to list it?

I would prefer one that's not too expensive. Thanks for any help that you can provide.
