How do you get rid of rotting meat smell?

I was out of town for awhile and sometime during that time my freezer went out. I had four turkeys in there!  My house smells horrible.  I've cleaned the freezer out, took it outside and hosed it down. I've also opened all the windows to air out the house.  I threw the turkeys in my trash bin but it's still several days before the next pick up.  How do I get the smell out of my house?  And, how do I keep the trash bins from stinking up the whole neighborhood?

Turn the freezer off at the wall. Allow all ice to thaw away. Then use bleach, just (thick) bathroom bleach. This should destroy the bacteria etc.
Don't leave the turkeys in your trash can, i suggest burying the turkey's lol, just not in the trash can. if you are putting in the trash can, give the turkey a few bags wrapped around it, and fill those bags with bleach.
Bleach out your trash can too. Keep all windows open, and scrub anywhere that may have come into contact with the meat juices. You may need to get a fumigation team in, but bathroom bleach is a miracle LOL.

Is the freezer stinky?  It might be lost.  Stink can get inside the insulation of the freezer.  Maybe ozone treatment would help, something to ask a remediation company that deals with smoke damage.  As for the stink in house, the fat molecules may be sread through the house, meaning they have to be physically removed.......walls, ceilings, etc wash as well as everything else that does't move.  I assume you have scrubbed out the bins......can you find a product called OdoBan?  Often sold in janitorial stores or hardware stores. That might word to swab out the bins......and maybe the house.
