  • Outlook not sending emails?

I have an XP pro x64 with all updates built as a VM inside of vmware server.

The host machine is Server 2003 with all updates

    Network is Bridge

XP box can receive email, surf the internet (using it to post this message)

However it can not send email.

Most of the time there is no error message, it just says it sent the email but it does not send it.

Other time I get an error message

Task 'SMTP Account - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

    All settings are correct.

This is a new build so it has never worked.

Any suggestions on where to kick to get this working

  • What size bolt do i need for a 2008 6.4L ac clutch hub?

Well, I missed the PM (remove and lock-tite) on the AC clutch hub and the bolt that holds the AC Clutch hub backed out and fell off, the clutch hub is still on the truck but is loose now.

This is for the bolt in the center of the face of the clutch hub.

    What size bolt is it?

---> eg 1/4 inch x 1.5 inch or metric size

Is it right hand or left hand thread?

    Do I need a grade 2, 5, or 8 or if metric an 8.8, 10.9, or 12.9?

Do I need a lock washer or a flat washer?

Do you recommend red or blue lock-tite?

  • 2004 town and country transmission question?

    In the 2004 chrysler T&C with 3.8L R 201 engine...

Hard shift/lurch from first to second gear.

TCS was replaced in 2008, there is a little bit of road grime around the face plate of the TCS but none around the rest of the unit.

Oil is full and nice and bright.

I can place the tranny in L and run it up to 25, remove foot from gas, upshift to D and I don't feel the lurch.

Any ideas as to the cause of the hard shift?

  • 89 F-350 IDI batteries draining?

I have a 89 F-350 with the 7.3 IDI, dual battery banks (4 batteries total) (650 CCA each).

    Batteries are 3 months old.

    Dual 210 Ampere alternators.

I have the batteries connected to a trickle charger/conditioner 24/7 when the truck is not in use.

The truck gets started about once every 3 weeks when its needed.

The problem I am having is the batteries will not hold a charge for more than 48 hours.

It does not matter if I have the charger on it or not.

    Electrical extras that are in the truck;

Wire harness for gooseneck trailer - no voltage found with volt meter

Electric brake controller - no voltage found with volt meter

Factory Alarm system - not turned on

5,000 watt Inverter (DC/AC) on a #4 lead with a battery switch in the off position. (no voltage at the inverter)

Any Idea's what could be causing the drain?

  • Bow sighting question/problem?

I had new cables, string, and peep sight put on my bow.

I am shooting 2 foot high and 1 foot right at 40 yards.

The high right is a tight enough group to defletch the shafts.

No matter where I put the sight pins my placement never changes.

Any suggestions on how I can get the group to start shifting down and left?

  • Non custodial international travel question?

I would like to take my girl friend and her 5 year old son on a cruise.

He does not have a passport.

I know the custodial ex will not authorize the issuance of a passport.

He will not even authorize travel out of the State and had an absolute cow when we went 4 counties away on a weekend trip.

There is no stipulation in their decree that prevents out of state or international travel.

What are the odds of getting a family court judge to issue an order to compel the custodial parent to sign the authorization forms along with the necessary papers to allow him to go on the cruise?

I will be paying the passport fees and the passport will wind up going to the custodial ex.

Would a judge issue the order? Can a judge issue that kind of order?

Would it need to be filed in family court where the decree was finalized or where she currently lives (next county over)?

  • 5th Wheel electrical issue?

A friends kid plugged in their RV (30 amp 110 volt) into a 60 amp 220 volt service.

This has caused all kind of issues as you can imagine.

Here is what we have found so far

Non of the GFCI's are working

1/3 of the 110 outlets are dead

The power inverter (110 to 12 volt) is cooked

The AC will not power up

I removed the Inverter from the coach and isolated the 12 volt from the rest of the system so we could test the 110 power.

I removed the battery from the coach presuming it too a direct hit of 220.

Other than the GFCI's not working the biggie is the AC.

Does the AC have any type of component that could be cooked by a 220 hit?

  • AR Builders - Have build issue?

Ok, Got two rifle kits in that I ordered in January.

Started to assemble them over the weekend and found the following.

1 - The take down pin (not the hinge pin) does not align with the lower

It appears to be about 1mm to high.

2 - When either upper was placed on a lower and the take down pin was pressed (lots of pressure required to set) The upper was placed in a bind. This binding caused the bolt to not function.

I tried this on 3 different in service functional lowers,

a DPMS, Rock River Arms, and a Superior.

Any sugestions prior to RMA and a who knows how long a wait?

What are the ramifications of doing a DFP delete on a 08 or 09 Dodge?

  • Large Garden, soil prep SE Texas how much fertilizer?

I broke ground yesterday on 1/3 acre for a garden, Next weekend I will be plowing in the fertilizer.

In a 1/3 acre plot would 16 yards of fertilizer be too much to add to virgin ground?

Fertilizer is horse stall fertilizer that has been in mound for a couple of years and is not "hot".

Also considering adding 10 yards of sand to the mix.

Will be plowed in and not tilled in, as I do not have a tiller just plows and discus for the tractor.

Also, should I flood irrigate or use a sprinkler to water the garden?

Water volume is not an issue as I draw from a irrigation canal.

  • How do I Replace RAID motherboard without damaging the data?

    I have a;

    INTEL BOXDP35DPM Intel P35 Core 2 Quad Socket 775 1333MHz PC2-6400 (DDR2-800) ATX Motherboard

    With a;

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Quad-Core Processor 2.4GHz, 1066FSB, LGA775, 8MB cache

With 2 Gig of DDR2-800 RAM

    The 2 drives are;

    SEAGATE ST3500320NS 500GB SATA

    Here is the issue...

I do not remember how I set up the raid originally.

I think I set it up as a mirror but I also may have...

Drive 0 Partition 0 mirrored to Drive 1 Partition 0

Drive 0 Partition 1 mirrored to Drive 1 Partition 1

The motherboard, CPU and RAM are toast (thanks to a failed fan in a Corsair CWCN500 Nautilus 500 Water Cooling Kit)

I am replacing the motherboard and CPU with same make and model as what was damaged.

I am upgrading the RAM to the Corsair Dominator 4 Gig (2x2048) from the Corsair Dominator 2 Gig (2x1024)

How can I replace the motherboard, CPU and RAM, Configure the RAID on the main board and not touch the data don the drives?

The data is critical data as the only backup prior the failure was damaged in a hurricane (offsite backup building was destroyed)

    NOTE:

The primary OS is Windows server 2003 standard with VMWare running 3 more instances of Windows 2003 server standard and one instance of Umbuntu server

  • For the Bow Hunters out there?

First of all, I know very little about bow hunting.

My 10yr daughter told me she wants to try it.

So I bought her a cheap bow ($50.00) and some target arrows.

Right out the gate she is hitting in pie plate area in the target at 50 foot.

    My question is, now what.

How do I continue to keep her interested?

Should I consider a stronger bow?

She has a 30# pull and has no problem with it.

In the Houston area, are there any location/clubs that I could take her so she can get proper training.

  • 9x17 vs 9x18 vs 9x19?

Ok, I know the basic differences, don't own any of them. I'm a 1911 CC.

I know I can not tell the difference without looking at the head stamp.

I know a 9x19 will not fit in a 9x17 mag, what would happen if a 9x17 was chambered and fired in a 9x19.

My whole family has 9x19's in various frames, except my girl friend did not like it and went with a 9x17 and I am concerned with cross loading and having a 9x17 chambered into a 9x19.

What about the 9x18 cross loading either way.

  • If the Obamanation gets elected?

Would you stand up and demand that he keep his "word" on supporting the 2nd Amendment?

Would you expect him to change his stand and continue his plan to ban all firearms from civilian use even if he has to do it through a UN treaty?

If he starts pushing for the destruction of the 2nd Amendment will you bury your guns to keep his administration from getting them or will you raise hell and push for criminal prosecution for violating the Constitution in his failing to defend it?
