A zoo, ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD besides Australia that has a platypus? I really want to see one but dont want to go to australia just for that.

Also, I live in South Korea, so closer to me would be nicer but often travel to the US and will visit Europe soon so keep that in mind.

I read online that the life average was 4... I find this hard to believe. I think it should be higher but maybe I dont know enough innocent people. So if you would add your age and gender, that would also be helpful.

One of my biggest pet peeves are the "required tip" and after living in asia for 2 yrs, I have come to question tipping. Why should I tip for the most basic of services. Isnt this person already being paid? Am I not already paying for food. I understand that they get paid a sub minimum wage because of expected tips, but in principle, I think its dumb.

Does anyone have any other things in western society they wished didnt exist?

I've recently been fascinated with living in Antarctica. Is there any job I can do (janitor etc) or cleaning dishes or something that would allow me to live in Antarctica for a few months? Any serious info would be great.

I have a Sony A33 camera which can take HD video. However, it records it in .mts files. Ive had a really hard time playing this type of file. How can I convert it to avi?

I dont normally hide the fact that I prefer to date Asian women (any kind, Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese and so on). While people point out that they notice, no one has ever really called me out on it as being a negative trait. While I have had relations with Black, White, and Hispanic women, for years now, I rarely, if ever find non-asians attractive anymore. Is there something wrong with this point of view? Will someone eventually call me racist? I am a Hispanic Male.

Lets be honest all. When you pick up a book, you instantly question whether it is fact or fiction,... if they cross refferenced their sources etc etc...

However when it comes to the bible, we simple accept that its true (christians) or what they are stories not to be taken literally but tell an important lesson. WHY? Why not question why this book is taken as fact?

Who says (besides your parents, and a hierarchy which came from 4th century rome) that this should be taken any more seriously than Lord of the Rings.. (also fiction, but at least its interesting)...

Ive always been told that 350 million yrs ago, we had pangea... a single super continent and there is obivous proof of course. We are also told that the tetonic plates are always moving... so ..... if the earth is 4 billion yrs old... how was the earth from 4billion years ago- 350 million years ago?... was it pangea the whole time?

Situation is that I met an incredible woman, who impressed me and im not easily impressed. As misfortune would have it, she is chinese and lives in china (met her when i was in china for some time). We agreed to stay together but LDR sucks. What are your thoughts on it? Mind you, I live in South Korea so it is not THAT far.
