I am thinking of buying a boutique in Hawaii. I want to cater to those with a sense of fashion that doesn't have to include with Hurley or Abercrombie.

BSC is trading at 10.97??? It is a $10 stock. it is tied to JPM.. I seem to remember it was 22 share per 100 or BSC.. which at the moment would make it worth....10.36

The website is down... and I am really ticked. LOL. I guess that is what you get when you have a mouse as a broker.

I want a digital camera. It doesn't have to be great, it is for personal use and I don't plan on printing billboard sized prints.

My only requirement is it has to have a conventional view finder. I live in Hawaii and the tourist I see using cameras with only digital display are always trying to hold the camera in one hand and shield the sun with the other.

My price range is $300 and under

Has anyone had problems with Scottrade order execution? I have been with them a long time, so one day doesn't make much history.

This morning I placed on order to buy MER at 38.50, it was trading under my limit, but I was willing to go that high. The order never got there. It was a full minute and a half and it never got there. It pushed through 38.50 and went to 40.70. I could have been out for sure at 40 for sure and back to bed with a 750 gain.

Anyone else have a problem today? I have heard that Scottrade option trading can be slow, but I don't trade options.

I couldn't believe early morning BSC was up 10% before market open. I was shaking my head as to why. NYSE opens and it went down and down and down. I could have easily been short at near 57. ... at 39 I thought it to late.... and it is trading at 32, boy did I miss a great day trade.

I have a letter sized scanner and often have to scan in two pieces and put them back together. I know there is software that does this. Can anyone give me a name. I don't mind paying for it, I just don't know what it is called.

I am an active trader. I keep hearing about thinkorswim. I am not unhappy with scottrade, but if there is a better venue for active trading I would give it a try.

I am not concerned about commission rates, you get what you pay for.

Thinkorswim is recommend but Barron's which could be a good thing and then again maybe not. I haven't read Barrons in a long time, so I don't know from what thinkorswim maybe a major advertiser.

I have just bought a new computer. I don't like Nortons, but when I try to uninstall it, I am told I can not because I am not the creator. I looked at the permissions but I do not want to change something without knowing what I am changing.

I am the administrator and no one but me has ever used this machine.

I just bought a new computer and of course it came with many junk programs. I uninstalled them but when I tried to remove the icon vista says something about a link not being found. All I want to do is get rid of the icon.

(I understand that when I deleted the program the link went with it)

I trade individual stock, but it looks like it is time to come into the Twenty-First century. I can find bits and pieces but not a complete list. Thanks for your help.

I think if the Fed cut is 25 basis points we may see a sell off, with a 50 basis point anything goes, but I do not anticipate 50 points.

I am interested in finding Cramers picks by the day. I would like to see what happens the next day... kinda does TV influence the market. I tried finding them with a search but with all the layers it was going to be difficult. I can find the other information without much trouble, but the list in order of the show is what I need.

I know that tradeking is cheaper per trade but that has little to do with what I need to know.

What is the difference in execution time, streaming quotes, etc. I use Scottrade and my one main complaint is only 20 stocks can be seen at a time on their streaming quotes. I can create as many lists as I like, but each list can only have twenty stocks.

by how many people ask very serious questions here when they should be asking a physician or a counselor or a spouse, etc? It is scary that someone would trust a serious health question about their child to someone who has little or no expertise on the subject? I realize there are professionals here, but there are a lot more 12 year olds.
