Given a standard deck of cards (52 cards, 13 of each suit) , what is the expected number of draws such that you have at least one of each of the 4 suits in your hand? And is there a way to do this in your head? Thanks

Given an experiment where if you flip a coin and if you get heads you earn $1, but if you flip tails you get nothing. If you flip this coin 4 times what is the expected value of the experiment. Now say at the end of the experiment you are given the option to re-flip any single coin. What is the expected value of the experiment? What if you were allowed the option to re-flip up to 2 coins?

So I know the expected value of just the coin flips is 2: 4*(.5*1 + .5*0), but I don't know how to do the follow up questions. Please help!

This is my third year of cross-country (second in high school) i'm 14 and my pr is 19:50, on the 3 mile course on an all sand and hills course. I'm currently running in the shoe's that I have been training in from last year and I was wondering if, when I get new race shoes, should I get spikes or does it really not matter whether I get spikes or just normal shoes?
