The one that likes gardenia...

I recently brought a 12 week old, Ragdoll kitten home and I am wondering how often I should bathe her?

I have only ever had a short hair cat and she was only bathed when she went outside. But this little girl will not be allowed outside so I am wondering how often I should bather her. Also, what type of shampoos are best for a Ragdoll?

She does not like water, this I know, so I would prefer not to bathe her too often.

I read this book AGES ago and this poem/verse has come back to me and for the life of me, I cannot figure out what the books was.

The poem/verse is at the beginning of the book and it is something like this:

In January, I will be bringing this little girl home. She is a blue mitted ragdoll, and the name I have chosen for her is Melody Blue. What are your thoughts?

Just to clarify, this is not a list of names for a baby, it is a list of names for my new kitten.

What would you pick? Please rate. IF you have any suggestions, please, by all means, go ahead, but the name needs to be two or three syllables, ending with a 'y' or 'ie', easy to say and spell, and also MUST be a female name, cannot be a male name.

She is very happy, loves her mama, plays well with others but can be a little wild. She likes necklaces and butterflies. She has blonde hair and VERY blue eyes. She is a fun little girl and can be very relaxed at times, and then can be a bit crazy, with next to no warning.

Her name must be a name she can use all her life and must end with, or shortened to end with "y" or "ie".

I'm not having much luck where I have posted this question before, so I will try here.

I have a little Blue Mitted Ragdoll female kitten with blue eyes (they will stay blue) coming to her forever home in January. I can not seem to find the perfect name for her.

I was going to call her Lilly but it is too close to Billie (a cat that I lost a little over a month ago) then I was going to call her Bluebell, but it is too close to my sisters nickname (Lubelle) and then I was going to call her Willow but it just does not seem to fit her.

I want to her name to have something to do with one of two things. Either her eye colour (a light blue) or one of my fandoms. My fandoms are - Hanson, Gilmore Girls, Buffy, Angel, Supernatural and Bones.

I cannot call her - Bluebell, Lilly, Angel (her sister) or Harmony (her mother). And I cannot give her a unisex name, the vet will get cranky (plus, I don't really like them)

I do not want a name that is difficult to spell orpronouncee. It cannot have anything to do with Twilight, and it must be a real name not - Missy Moo Poo or something of the like.

Anyone got any suggestions?

My cat passed away little over a month ago, and I feel it is now time for me to start looking for another cat.

A breed I have recently discovered is MaineCoon. I would like some information on the breed.

All I wanna know is why? Why have people have decided on a masculine name for their daughters? Why is this so popular now?

I have gone through my life, I am now 22, as a girl with a boys name, with the only difference being the spelling of my name. It has been spelled for a girl,. My parents spelled it Toni rather Tony.

I have never really likes it and I am sure if anyone gives their daughter a masculine name, that girl will not like it.

I was teased and ridiculed all through my teenage years. I HATED high school.

And now I get phone calls asking for "Mr Tony G _ _ _ _ _" and letters and emails addressed to Mr Tony G_ _ _ _ _. Even my High school had me listed as a male student. I went there for the full five years of High school.

Why do people do this? PLEASE -Do not do this to your child. She will HATE it.

Also -any names that end in "Son" such as Greyson, mean "Son of" Why call your daughter a son?

I have had two pairs of shoes on ebay for about 3 weeks now.

I have reduced the price by 20 dollars on one pair of them and 10 on the other. They are both well below their RRP of $87 and $40.

I have my iPod plugged into the powerpoint charger and it is not charging.

I have tried different powerpoints, different cables and nothing seems to be working.

When I plug the iPod into the cable that is attached to the charger, the screen lights up like it is about to charge, but it does not charge.

What could be wrong with my iPod?
