I can connect with firefox, internet explorer, and aol instant messenger, but i can't with yahoo messenger, kaspersky internet security, or microsoft office.

any suggestions?

I'm in the process of selling my house. The inspector indicated that i need to add sash weights to one of my windows. It appears to me that the original windows (and design of the window structure) didn't allow for sash weights. Is there any alternative to sash weights that i can use?

I would like to bolster my MP3 collection with some newer tunes. what is the best cheap website around from which i can buy MP3s? I know, I know, i can get them for free. but, i'm not all about piracy...at least not on a large scale. If i only wanted a song here and there, it might be different, but i'm talking about lots of songs.

it's stuck at 42% charge. the battery indicator flashes green once then red three times, and keeps repeating. it is plugged in, but the charge level doesn't increase.

i'm looking into getting an HDMI receiver, and i need some help. What i want is a single HDMI output. I want any input (hdmi, component, etc.) to be output through hdmi (both audio and video). the goal being that i have a single hdmi out to my HD tv, with all audio going through the receiver.

i know that hdmi passthrough will not work, as it will only pass hdmi in signals to the hdmi out.

so, the basic question is, what receivers out there upgrade other video signals to hdmi?

any help would be appreciated.

i have two yahoo IDs. can i have both active in one yahoo messenger session? if so, how do i do it?

yahoo doesn't offer the capability unless i do a lot of work off-line. are there any sites out there which do/ ESPN does, but i do not like their site, and have had bad experiences with it in the past. so, what sites are out there, and are they free or pay sites?

TV has HDMI, component, and S-video inputs. But, S-video isn't high def is it? anyways, on my basic laptop, is there a card i can buy that will have an HDMI out connection, or a component out connection?

i've recently found some reputable processors for a very good price, and would like to put one in my computer. is this possible? or are new processors only for completely new computer builds? will i lose any information if i do this? if it is possible, how do i know how many pins the processor must have?

i have an outdoor light that keeps flickering. the light is set to automatically come on at night. it is out of my reach, so i haven't examined it as of yet. the bulb can't be burned out since it does come on, right? i believe it is a mercury light. any way i can fix this without great expense?
