2 AnswersEngineering7 years agoI want to upgrade my Kindle to a Fire HD, but I'm worried about selling the old one?
My present Kindle is set for one click purchases to my account. Is it possible for me to wipe all personal info from the Kindle so that any new owner wouldn't be able to charge purchases of ebooks or apps to me?

"that you shall obliterate the remembrance of Amalek from beneath the heavens. You shall not forget!"
How can you both obliterate the remembrance (ie forget) and not forget? I have looked at Rashi but he doesn't seem to address this.
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality8 years agoHow can I tell if I have a cold or hayfever?
My symptoms are: runny nose, sneezing and coughing (feels like mucus buildup in my throat),watery eyes and a sore throat.
1) does this sound more like a cold or more like hayfever?
2) as cold remedies treat the symptoms rather than the underlying condition, would they work on the the symptoms of hayfever, insofar as they are the same?
3) can you do damage to your health by treating hayfever as though it were a cold or vice versa?
2 AnswersOther - Diseases8 years agoI am thinking of buying a Nook ereader?
Nooks have recently become available in the UK.
However I already have a Kindle with a lot of ebooks on it. Would I be able to access these on a Nook or is there any way of uploading the files to a computer, converting them, and then downloading onto the Nook?

2 AnswersMental Health8 years agoAmazon delivery left but no card?
I was out when Amazon (allegedly) tried to deliver a package. Their website says they left a card, but I didn't find one. It says status: action required from customer.
But as I haven't got the card I don't know who to phone and can't find the relevant info from the Amazon site. Does anyone know the Amazon customer service number or else the number used by their delivery service?

4 AnswersHobbies & Crafts9 years agoWhy are these people being charged in England with an offence that allegedly took place in Scotland?
The Daily Mail has an article ( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2174316/Sp... ) which states:
"A police chief and his wife were today charged with perverting the course of justice after she allegedly accepted speeding penalty points on his behalf.
"Acting Deputy Chief Constable of Leicestershire Police, Gordon Fraser, 48, was alleged to have been behind the wheel of a car when it was registered as going over the speed limit in Scotland.
"His wife Teresa, 42, is accused of accepting the penalty points on his behalf and claiming she was behind the wheel."
However the article goes on to say that they will be appearing before St Albans magistrates' court to face the charge.
As England and Scotland have completely separate legal systems why should this be so?
