im thinking about getting a bunny. i already have a cat so can i just use the cats litter (it is clumping grey litter, nothing fancy) for the bunny?

i have a 1 year old cat who loves other cats, not sure about dogs only cuz he hasnt been around them much. i am thinking about getting a english lop eared bunny, someone is selling theirs and its only 4 months old. do u think they will get along? the person said the bunny is good with small dogs but has never been around a cat. do u have a bunny and a cat/ if so how did u introduce them?

i asked this question earlier but i got alot of mixed answers. some owners of the system were telling me yes other saying no u cant. so umm the truth please.

first of all is the system worth it? or is a x box pro a better choice? can i play PS2 games on a PS3? will the guitar and microphones from the PS2 work on the PS3? and last of all can i play DVDs on the PS3? sorry i dont really know that much about console as i have only owned a original nintendo, N64 and PS2 so any other info u can give me would b fantastic. merci!

what do u think? i know its going to be a few weeks till the testing is complete and we will know for sure but i just wanted to know peoples opionions on this. even if she is a man i dont think they should have had this huge stir the day she won. how horrible the best most important day in your life and ur gender is questioned. poor girl. so i think she is a girl and deserves that medal what do u think?

its like a dog!! it just started 2 weeks ago and i have had him since he was 7 weeks old. he chewed my sandles to pieces, shoes, bra straps, straps on shirts, bag handles ect. he doesnt just chew it he eats it as well. im afriad that a piece could get stuck in his system. i put away my clothes and shoes in drawers and closest but he some how opens them and pulls them out!! what can i do to stop this behaviour?

there has been this little cat that has been wandering around my apartment building for a month now. it looks like skin and bones, so malnurished and has gashes all over from what i am guessing cat fights. he only likes me and it took a while for him to trust me but over time he became quite the sweet heart. i was wondering if a vet would fix him up free of charge since he isnt mine? i dont want to take him to a shelter cuz when he meets new people he hisses, spits and swats, so they may deam him unadoptable. i would take him in but my kitty just finished a $300 treatment and i cant afford another bill like that at the moment. if he was well i would take him in. i fear for this little guy what should i do?

my roommate woved out suddenly and refused to pay renters insurance for the entire time that she lived in the apartment. she was a horrible roomie who was constantly late paying rent (up to 3 weeks sometimes). now she says that her mother , being a finacial advisor says that she doesnt have to pay renters insurance and that its her choice to have insurance or not. but how can you rent with out renters insurance??!! also the place that we are renting from told us that we needed renters insurance in order to rent. what do i do? i tried convincing her but i just get swearing anf name calling on the other line and her mother doesnt pick up or return my messages. at a loss and really stressed out please help me figure this one out guys!!!

im having trouble with a room mate who refuses to pay renters insurace and her mother whom is a finacial advisor says that the roomie doeesnt have to pay insurance. it is a choice. is this true cause the place wouldnt let us rent with out insurance. also would her mother actually know this, i didnt think a finacial advisor would have knowledge of something like that? what do you think?

i have a 5 month old kitten who is a very strange cat indeed, after all the weird things he has done i didnt think there was anything else. i got him a lazer awhile ago approx 2 months and he was fine with it chased it and what not. lately i have been letting him chase it but he get all worked up. he starts whinning and eeping when he is chasing it, watching it and especially when he loses sight of it. its very strange and im afraid that its some how effecting him psycologicaly. why is he acting like this? and how can i help him?

i own the most emo loner cat in the world she is lazy, hates to be petted, doesnt like to play and sits by herself all day. 4 months ago i got a kitten who is the perfect cat. i did the whole introduction thing step by step, for a month it was hissing swatting and carrying on. after the hissing stopped i left the 2 to sort out hierarchy and what not. there were no fights and no blood loss so i figured it was safe to let them be around each other 24/7. lately my cat has been jumping on my kitten starting fights, but at first they look like play fights but then she gets rough and uses her size to her advantage on the kitten. then once she has him pinned she puffs up her tail, which i know is not a good sign!! i go after her with the squirt bottle. my question is why is she doing this when he is no threat to her being small, meek and pinned down!! he is 4 months and therefore not neutered. once he is neutered do u think this will stop?

my cat and kitten have finally gotten used to each other, well they mostly tolerate each others presence at least with the occasional bath and cuddle. but when they play after a while my cat will puff up her tail so the hair stands straight. what does this mean is she trying to intimidate the kitten by making herself appear larger like with birds or does it mean something else?

i recently got 2 kittens they r now 2 months and my cat (female, spayed) i have had for 2 years. at fisrt there was the hissing and swatting from my older cat but once that stopped we let them out together in the appartment all the time. the older cat has started cleaning the kittens regularily, which is so cute! but then she will start chasing them and knocking them over, jumping on them and biting their necks and bellies. the kittens dont scream or anything but it looks rough. and when the older cat gets off ,the kittens cower for a bit. is she being a bully or is this just play? she will sometimes hiss and poof her tail before doing this to them is this a sign of aggression?

for 4 weeks now i have been trying to indroduce my new kitten(7weeks) to my cat (1 1/2yrs). today my cat was running at my kitten swatting like crazy and he want even bothering her. after being swatted and hissed at my kitten went into his submissive state by lying down. my cat came over and started to sniff him, he didnt move. then she started swatting at him he rolled over in deeper submission ans she continued to swat at him!! when she was finished he sat up shaking and ran behind me. and that was it i took him away. the fact that he rolled over in submission should b good enough for my cat shouldnt it? what should i do, should i disapline my cat next time she does this to my kitten? will it get better? will my cat finally regognise submission?

i orriginally had a spayed 1y female and i got a new kitten (boy) 3 weeks ago and i did the whole separating thing and now im trying face to face contact letting the kitten and cat find each other and sniffing. but my kitten is hyper and tries to play but my older cat wants nothing to do with it. she hisses at him and swats him. then he hisses back and sticks his butt in the air and his tail goes up and onto his back. what is he trying to do?? he is only 7 weeks old. should i let my older cat swat him so he knows not to bug her, will it hurt him? what can i do to make this safe and easy for them both?

i recently got 2 kittens both r 6 weeks (Bowie and Nina) and i have an older cat who is 1yr (Tessa). i have been introducing them slowly with help from members of this forms suggestions but a new problem has arrisen. when ever Nina goes over to Tess and they say hello its quick and they both turn and its done. but when Bowie goes to say hi he runs at Tess and chases her under the table. she starts hissing at him and swatting. i dont want to disapline Tess cuz she is just not in the mood to play but Bowie doesnt get the picture he is sooo hyper darting everywhere and running like a mad man. both kittens get plenty of play time with each other and with us but he is still so hyper and Tess doesnt want to have anything to do with him when he is hyper. how should i go about this problem? is there any way of settling him down when he goes to say hi? i really want a good relationship between the cats.

i recently got a new kitten who is 6 weeks the mother died when he was 2 weeks old, so he didnt get the chance to learn much from her. he has some basics down such as using the kitty box drinking water and eating wet food. but he doesnt seem to know how to clean himself!!! he is so stinky!! i gave him a bath 3 days ago and he stinks again. i also got baby wipes and i use them on him butt every so often but i cant do this his whole life!! how do i teach him to clean himself?

i got 2 new kittens today and the lady told me that one was male and the other female but i cant tell. is there any way to no for sure other than taking them to the vet (thats expensive just to find out the sex)? they r only 6 weeks.

my male budgie has started acting very strange lately. he will go to the bottom of the cage and flutter his wings very rapidly stirring up the bottom of the cage. then he will jump up onto a perch and bob his head like a madman!! my female bird just yells at him when ever he does this. y is he acting this way?

i asked for help regarding my older cat and new kittens. i have seperated them and the kittens r doing fine. i have tried to give attention to my older cat but she bit me!! she has never bitten anyone in her whole life!!! whats wrong? her attitide has completely changed she is a different cat!! if she is this sggressive im not so sure the kittens will b safe around her even later. im so upset and worried about both the kittens safety and having my sweet little princess back to the way she was. plz help
