  • Name of an 80's song...?

I saw the music video, but can't quite remember the lyrics.

    Its set at night

There's some guy singing in a castle or cathedral or something (maybe , I think he had some sort of ugly/deformed) face, he seemed lonely/sad.

Later in the video, he's riding a motorcycle down an empty road (still at night)

Any idea what it might have been?

  • Have you heard this new Creationist claim?

I got into a "discussion" with an ID'er/Creo-tard, and heard this gem, its a new low... South Park's parody of retarded fish frogs sodomizing monkeys wasn't far off

"dogs ******* cats and producing Dats or Cogs would be evolution, you know, humans evolving from snails, new species, as opposed to the same species without a single major physical difference from the old species."

  • If a woman can get an Abortion, then can a man...?

Excuse himself from paying child support.

No, I'm not trying to troll, or to be anti-abortion.

Just think about the fairness of the situation:

Woman gets pregnant.... she can decide whether or not she wants the obligation to take care of it until it reaches age 18.

Meanwhile... the man has no say in whether he must labor/work for the next 18 years to support the thing.

So... if abortion is legal, is it fair to in all cases force a man to pay child support, or should he only have to pay child support if he consents to having the baby as well (or if he's a rapist and the victim decides to keep it).

Assuming consensual sex and an unplanned pregnancy, both parties are equally at fault for not taking proper precautions, so why does only one party have the option of freeing themselves of the obligation?

Should a man be able to sign a form stating he does not consent to having the child, and if she still carries it to term, he will not be held liable for child support?

Of course, he should split the cost of the abortion, plus a little extra since he's not the one having the procedure.

Lets say the man has a time limit of... 16 weeks.

Or you could perhaps reverse it (this is hypothetical, not a serious suggestion, just for the purposes of illustrating equality and fairness of our current situation)... since currently the woman has the option of removing the financial obligation without the mans consent, but the man cannot remove the financial obligation without the woman's consent....

Should a woman have a financial obligation if the man does not consent to the abortion - ie she can still abort the embryo, but then must pay a fine to the would-be father

  • What are the German lines in the Bourne Identity?

Specifically, what do they say in German when Bourne meets Marie and offers her $10 thousand for a ride to Paris.

    I can't make it out.

*I already know the English translation, I want the text for the original German lines.

  • Ex-Roommate opened my mail - Pressing Charges?

My ex-roommate opened my mail that failed to get forwarded to me.

It was a response from a graduate school I had applied to.

I never told her she could open it, she sent me a message (facebook) that I got the mail, and that I didn't get in (like I wanted her to know that.....)

I asked her to mail it to me so I could see it for my self. It took her 1 month to mail it over a distance of a mere 100 miles (same state).

It arrived all folded up unevenly with greasy oily stains all over it.

#1) I have a documented series of messages where she admits to opening the mail, without me ever asking her to - I only asked if any mail came for me.

#2) I have it documented in via e-mail/facebook inbox messages that she waited over three weeks after I asked her to mail it to me (and any responses from other schools that came- unopened).

    Do I have a case?

I am going to school overseas, can I press charges and present the evidence to the authorities and let them take over while I leave for studies in another country?
