I have been at a company 4years. I have had a medical problem that I only communicated to my supervisor, but have not ask for any special situation, no additional time off, and glowing reviews with raises & promotions, never written up for anything, numerous service excellence awards. Then I get an infection and have to go into hospital (not directly related to my medical condition) and while I was away in the hospital (short term disability for just about 2 weeks)I supervisor announces in a meeting to everybody what my medical condition is. Glowing review dated 7-29, manager says I am getting a merit increasebut on 8-3 HR calls says supervisor says there is "deficit performance" what exactly is unknown. Now I doubt I will the merit increase I was told on 7-29. I was wondering what recourse I have now that they wont what me because I am sick, even though I never needed or ask for anything different than anybody else. How can they tell everybody?

Can they fire me because I am sick?

What would cause that to happen?

I recently found out I have 5 solid thyroid nodules along with lynphs that are swollen but no fever. rf positve at 80 but what does the thyroid have to do with rf factor? I dont to the dr until 8/7 so just concerned what to expect

All under 1cm, palpable, small lynph nodes can be seen adjacent to carotid and jugular vessels, others in the sublingual position on both sides. My TSH .342 (borderline low) fleet 4 .91 (normal) Is that hypo or hyper? What does an RF postive of 80 mean? I feel like I am always wearing a really tight turtleneck.

What does all this mean? Should I be worried?

I recently had food poisoning and went to the dr. & when examined the dr. found a hard lump on the left side on my neck. It doesnt hurt or anything that. blood test are as above. Joints in hands, knees, shoulders, and sometimes hip have been pretty painful and crabbyness. Dr. wants to ct scan on bumps (smaller one on right is very recent & small) but is that a waste of money for something thay doesnt hurt?
