So I'm 18 and bi and my friends are taking me to a gay bar this Saturday. I'm pretty closeted and this is the first time I've ever done anything like this. I was just wondering what I should wear and I know this is kind of embarrassing but I've never really flirted with a guy any pointers on that or any other information I should know would be so helpful. I think it's like a pretty vanilla place nothing too crazy. Thanks so much

I'm 18 years old and this guy I like is a year older and in college. We don't have really a close friendship or anything but friends is the best way to describe it. I'm pretty sure the relationship I'm hoping for will never happen, and I understand that but I'm just having trouble moving on. He's like the first crush I've ever had on a guy and it was his smile more than anything (there aren't even words to describe how gorgeous it is and how it made me feel when he smiled at me). But like I said he's far away and I just need to move on. Does anyone have any practical advice besides time heals all wounds and all that obvious other slogans that I've already heard. I need some clarifications on your convictions. I don't want any rude comments or anything like that I just need some help understanding. So I have a few questions:

1. I have heard many answers saying that atheism uses reason and intellect to establish its beliefs. I don't understand that because it is almost like atheism has a monopoly over reason and intellect which would make religion have a monopoly over emotion and abstract thought. just your thoughts on that I understand not really a question

2. A similar idea do most atheists believe in love, justice, and truth or do you believe that everything is subjective or based on moral relativism?

3. I have also heard that there are different sects of atheism and by that I mean I have heard that some atheists believe in an afterlife; that seems like a lie to me but I'm not sure.

4. I also like to know if atheists consider themselves nihilists

If you are wondering I am religious and to be more specific I am a catholic, but I do respect atheism many of you have thought about God more than most religious people. Thank you so much for all the help.
