This is what I do, like, love and think about: trying to conceive, driving around in my convertible, playing with my dogs, writing poetry, eating delicious food, hangin' out with the hubby, loving all animals, unicorns, music, reading every book ever written and wishing for greater happiness on earth.

  • $8000 tax credit for first time home buyers?

    Purchasing my first house.

My Husband and I filed jointly on our taxes this year. However, he will not be ANYWHERE on the loan (because his debt to income ratio is too high and will make our interest rate go higher).

However, I noticed that the cut-off for a single person to get the 8000 bucks in 75,000 a year income- I make more than that. My husband only makes about 10,000 a year though, and the cut-off for married couples is 150K.

    My question is this:

Do we BOTH have to be on the loan to consider our income under the 150,000 for married couples in order to get the $8000? OR, can we get it even if he's NOT on the loan, but we filed jointly?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

  • Doctors or Nurses out there- CLOMID question?

I do not ovulate and I do not menstruate. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for a year. I finished my second round of clomid @ 50mg last week. I waited until day 21 and had my blood draw. I did not ovulate :(.

Now, the dr. is telling me to wait until day 35 (to make sure a period doesn't come- even though I do not have them, so it will most definitely NOT come) and then call her back to get the third round of clomid @ 100mg.

This is all fine and good, but they are not doing the Provera this time, and I'm not sure why. I was speaking with the nurse and not the Dr, but she didn't seem to know anything about it.

I was wondering if anybody has ever taken clomid WITHOUT provera first, and if there's a reason for it. I've always been under the impression that they need to make you bleed before you can conceive. Perhaps I am wrong.

Any clarification would be extremely helpful. If I SHOULD be on the provera first and the nurse messed something up, I would really like to know. I react strongly to the clomid and it's very hard on me. I would like to know it's not all in vain.

    Thank you so much.

    Sincerely,

  • Clomid and Pregnancy?

I'm on day number 2 of 50 MG of clomid. (Day six of my cycle).

This is my second round of treatment and I'm REALLY having good faith in this time around :) I just wondered if there's ANY way to really tell what my most fertile day is...

I do not have periods without the provera, so I have no way of knowing what my actual cycle is. (I've only had about 3 periods my entire life and I'm 26).

Should I just base my cycle on 28 days? My body temperature fluctuates quite a lot anyways because of some other health issues I have, so the thermometer readings don't help me much.

If anyone is out there on clomid, or has been previously and got pregnant- I'd like to know your most fertile days. Especially if you didn't have periods prior to the treatment (provera).

Thanks and have a merry christmas!

  • What are some fun Christmas traditions from your family of origin?

My extended family has always had a blah sort of holiday season. Well, now all the "kids" are grown up and we are wanting to start some fun, family traditions for future generations. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

  • What's the best adoption agency?

My husband and I would like to adopt a child (age infant- 4 years old) and are wondering if it's better to do it in the states or through an international agency?

I've heard wonderful things about China, but I'd like to know of anybody's PERSONAL experiences with particular agencies.

I've heard Bethany.org is NOT good and they're creepy pamphlets I received from them confirmed my beliefs.

I've heard so many horror stories, we'd just really like to hear of a good one.

No gender or nationality pref, and we're not the type of people who think, "Take care of the kids in your own country first". I'd be fine with that of course, but I think children need homes no matter where they were born. It doesn't matter to us.

    Anyways, thanks for the answers!

  • Severe "Morning Sickness"?

I would like to preface this by saying I would absolutely love to be pregnant! My husband and I would be thrilled, but I haven't had a period in over three years, so I just doubt that's the case...

I've had a yeast infection for a couple of days now, then yesterday I got the chills really bad and started feeling nauseous for the ENTIRE day.

I came home from work and vomited everything I had eaten, it was about 8 pm.

I am still feeling nauseous but managing to keep food down. However, I saw steak on a television commecial and almost puked from the sight of it.

I've heard that yeast infections are common during pregnancy, but I thought maybe I just had some food poisoning or something that caused the vomiting.

I was told I would have to be on fertility drugs to get pregnant and we've tried twice, but decided to put it on hold because of how stressful the process is.

Is it possible that I'm pregnant? I would just like to know if any other woman had morning sickness that was this severe. It's not just in the morning and hasn't let up for two days.

I also started sobbing for absolutely no reason AT WORK while I was lying in my office on the ground because of how nasueous I felt.

Anyway, before I spend another 10 dollars on a test that tells me negative, I'd like to know if any women have had this severe morning sickness? If it could be at all related to pregnancy?

    Thank you so much.

    Sincerely,

  • What are some excellent songs to work-out to?

I like songs that make me feel sexy, strong and powerful. The music I work out to isn't the type of music I would listen to regularly, but I like it that way.

    Kanye West- "Faster Stronger"

    Justin Timberlake- "Sexy Back"

    Rocky Votolato- "Suicide Medicine"

Dexy's Midnight Runners- "Come on Eileen"

These are a few of the songs I'm working out to currently- Just to give you an idea.

ALL of your suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks and Hot Jams,

    Courtney

  • Ladies: Have you ever had thoughts about being with other women?

Lately, I have been having obscene fantasies involving other women. My husband is extremely conservative and would not be happy about it. I've never had these thoughts before, but all of a sudden... Has anyone had this happen to them?? I'm wondering if I'm having a quarter-life crises or something?

  • Men: What is the Sexiest thing a woman can wear?

I don't mean in the bedroom. I mean, when you're walking down the street and you notice a woman, and you know you want her right then and there- what types of things are you noticing? Is there something in particular that stands out? (Obviously, boobs, butt, face, teeth). I'm talking about what a woman has on that makes you just want to grab her and haul her back to your cave.

Essentially, what are some things a woman can do that regresses you back to your most primal instincts?

    Thanks!

  • I WANT TO GET PREGNANT?

I have been trying to get pregnant for over three years now.

I don't have periods, but NO dr. can find anything wrong with me, they just say that " I can only have induced periods". There's no cysts or anything, and they say I'm still ovulating.

However, I have taken two separate rounds of fertility drugs and no luck :(. My husband is starting to get weird about it and worried ( Not to MENTION his frickin' Mother).

Anyways, I have never been on birth control, I have no diseases, I don't smoke, I only drink water, I exercise thirty minutes a day and I'm very financially stable and love my job. I'm also a vegetarian and I eat very well.

I try not to stress out about it, but is there ANYTHING out there (even crazy old wives tales) that you guys think might help??? Any magic potions or spells would be greatly appreciated :)

    Thanks,
