If you were to inject caffeine into a person whose heart has stopped Pulp Fiction style, would it get their heart started again?

I don't mean what is the largest military a country has ever possessed, I mean for a single battle, what army has been the largest? Xerxes's at the Battle of Thermopylae? Some seige in the crusades?

I'm writing a book and my character is trying to hijack a nuclear submarine (French) and the idea is to use a stolen cargo ship (a really BIG and valuable ship) as bait in international waters. If a submarine comes across such a vessel, are they required by maritime law or some other protocol to investigate? At the very least surface?

I want to create a website where people can read, comment on, rate, and post stories and I have no idea how to do it. I'm not a coder or anything like that. Does anyone know how I can do it? Or is there a website that will help me?

I just got a letter back from the copyright office, saying that my book is ready (I plan on self-publishing through amazon). Now what do I do? Do I put something in the book? Do I scan a part of the letter and then put it in as an image.

Do I just copy and paste it exactly like this? Do I have to put it into a single line and then paste it? Do I use spaces? Or all these all alternate codes and only one will do?

I'm writing a story about a guy with cancer and I want details on the experience of both treatments. I'm not looking for the side effects afterwards, I need to know about the actual process. What does it feel like when it's happening? Are you in your clothes or hospital clothes? Do you sit up or lie down? Are there other cancer patients with you or are you alone? That kind of thing.

I hired someone to proofread my book and he told me to put the actions of the character and the character's lines in the same paragraph, because it helps keep everything organized about who is saying what. But now I'm going back and closing all those paragraph breaks and I'm having a problem. My MC is making a speech and he's doing things while he's talking. When I try to close those paragraph breaks, it just turns the whole thing into a wall of text. Should I start a new paragraph for every action he makes? For every time he continues speaking? I just don't want it to look weird.

I know that you can post the dialogue tag before the dialogue on the same paragraph.

Tom said, "Hello."

Paragraph 3

But can you add an action that a character does before speaking without putting the tag? Just a regular sentence?

Tom sighed. He said, "Hello."

Or since they are separate sentences, do you just put the action and the dialogue in separate paragraphs?

I'm writing a book that takes place in New York City and I need some survival tricks that would work in an urban environment. I'm not necessarily looking for prepper stuff, more like stuff you could do AFTER everything goes wrong. I just some neat and informative tricks, for example:

*making a lamp out of olive oil, a paper towel, and a beer can

*siphoning water out of a water heater or other plumbing system

*stripping a car

*making a battery bank powered by an alternator and inverter

I'm looking for examples in mythology in which a human is able to manipulate nature, without it being quite an act of God. Does anyone know of mythologies with people able to control nature in a very elemental kind of way?

I m arguing with a guy who s using pseudo science and bs legal sources to claim that fetuses are human beings. Can anyone help me with scientific sources that I can use to prove him wrong? I like Death Note's brilliance and deep plot, but there isn't any action, and I like Black Lagoon's action and mature politics, but Revy's outfit and dialogue kind of hold it back. I'm writing a book and there is a courtroom scene and I'm having some trouble writing it. Basically, I'm having trouble figuring out how the trial would take place. Here's what led up to it:

The protagonist and his girlfriend are attacked at night in a park by three bad guys. The girl is taken hostage and the protagonist is viciously beaten. However, he manages to take control of the situation and takes out the bad guys. The problem is that he does it with an illegal weapon (melee type and concealed) and he completely brutalizes the three bad guys. They are all left an inch from death, there is blood everywhere, and it just looks like a horror movie. They survive, but the protagonist clearly went far beyond self-defense. Later that night, the main bad guy catches up to the protagonist and his girlfriend in the hospital and shoots the protagonist in the head, but he survives.

So how exactly would this trial take place? Both sides are guilty and will be charged, the main protagonist for aggravated assault with an illegal weapon (he went well beyond self-defense) and the main bad guy for attempted murder. But the real question is who started the fight, the bad guys claim the protagonist attacked them, while the protagonist claims they attacked him and his girlfriend. So how would this take place? Would the ADA take a side? Would both sides have their own personal lawyer? Would they sue each other? There hasn't been anything like this on Law & Order so I'm not sure. Please help

I mean, can the word "stonehenge" only denote the specific location and ruins, or can it be used to describe an object or phenomenon? Is it grammatically possible to write something like "I walked into the kitchen and saw a stonehenge of ketchup bottles"? I don't mean something that resembles Stonehenge, but something that IS A stonehenge.

For years, ever since late middle school, I've been getting these weird and creepily gothic phrases in my mind. It's not like when you get a song stuck in your head after hearing it, because I have never heard these phrases before, I have never read them, and I've never encountered them outside of my own head. They just spontaneously appear out of nothing in my subconscious and keep on repeating over and over. What disturbs me is that they are all dark and creepy, often just a few words: "end life" "into the depths/mouth of madness" and stuff like that. I'm a sophmore now in college, and for the past several months, I've been hearing the words "achieve death" repeating in my mind like a broken record. I've never heard it before but I feel like it's supposed to mean something, almost like instructions.

I know this is a really weird and stupid question, but does anyone else experience this?
