I've been selling on Ebay for quite a while now, and a lot of the sellers are fed up with new policies that just protect the buyer and leaves the seller wide open for abuse, not to mention the random restrictions, no more free listings, and the ridiculous new grading system coming in August. They have mentioned going to Amazon.

Experienced sellers: How do they protect sellers and buyers?

Fees?

Amount of traffic/sales you get on both sites?

I've tried to look all of this up, but the answers aren't clear and I would just like a basic real perspective from people, not review sites.

I am experienced with Buy it Now. That's how I make all of my money. I would like some tips on making more in auctions though. I have tried everything from making my listings more attractive, lowering the price (I do not do the whole 99 cent thing. that's just B.S.)

I am a seller on Ebay. I make a good bit, but there are these thrift and consignment stores 2 hours away in cities where a lot of professionals live, etc. I know people that find a ton of designer things for next to nothing. I want to spend a whole day going up there and finding things that will make me money and fast, but my parents think that's crazy to drive that much. I have a few decent ones here, but I feel like I could get a really good haul, that would more than compensate for the effort and gas. Does anyone else do this/has done this?

I had an Epson 400 for 1 yr, 10 mos. It just stopped working, and they sent me a refurbished one. So now, I've had this one for 3 months, and it will only print in Cyan. I tried numerous times to do the nozzle check and head cleaning, but it just gets worse each time I do that. What else can I try? I really don't want to have to call them again.

I filled out all of the paperwork, and had the court serve someone for small claims. 2 weeks later, I get a letter from the court saying they moved, and nothing else. So, why didn't the court get their new address, and serve them there? Am I going to have to pay another $130 to get them to serve the person at the new address?

The person who hit me is 66 and retired. She was wreckless, tried to run, and has no insurance. There is another owner listed on the car, (her daughter). I am in the process of getting a lawsuit ready, but I can't find anything on if I could go after them both because she has a history of poor driving, and they are both liable, just the one who hit me.... etc. I can only find what happens if you let someone borrow your car who is not an owner like a child or friend.

I keep having new issues come up with my car accident.... I have asked many people from lawyers, to insurance agents and they all say that I need to write a letter to the person who hit me asking for the money for damages. I know she will not pay because she tried to blame me, run, has no insurance, and lied like crazy to the cop. So, do I have to, by legal procedure, write asking anyway?

The cop did not put who's fault it was on the report. What will happen with that?

What will help me in court?

So this lady just turned into my car without looking, tried to run, lied to the cop about everything of course he knew she was lying because of how the damage was done. I have insurance, but she does not. So I heard someone say that my insurance company will pay to have my car fixed, then will go after her for repayment. What can I expect? Will I have to go to court if they decide to sue her?

Also, my agent said that because it wasn't my fault, I won't have to pay a thing so....

I had an ebay buyer receive multiple pieces of china shattered. She is being impatient and I don't know what to do with their website. Each time I visit, a new error pops up. Either their site says that there is no new info on my claim, they can't find my claim, etc. Their customer service is awful and totally unhelpful. I am trying to get them out to her home a few states away to get the damaged items and reimburse me, but with the website constantly glitching, I don't know what to tell her and have no clue if they will even come out to get it. What do I do?

My cousins have MBA's and one of their spouses has an entire family of people with the same degree. They all do different things like sales, management, etc. I have been interested in advertising, but didn't know if I should also focus on a minor or what would be best. Anyone getting their degree or graduated and doing something similar?

I have 2 ebay stores that do pretty well, but I want greater exposure. I just want to know if it actually work for you? Do you not notice much of a difference? Is it great just for advertising, or do you get a lot of sales off of facebook?

I have been told there is a button you can click to specify no international shipping and it shows up automatically in your profile, but I can't find one. Instead of just writing it in every listing, I would rather it looks more official. I have put it in my "business" area, but I don't see that showing up.

I got a prompt saying I need to add bank account info to verify my paypal account in order to sell more. My account was just hacked yesterday and I don't think I want to add that. On the other hand, I do have a lot of stuff selling and a good seller account going right now and really am trying to avoid setting up another account if possible. Does anyone do this on their account? How has it worked for you?

I bought this vase and I want to resell it. I don't have markings, I just know it is old. I have tried looking it up, but I am limited by the lack of identification. Are there any good free sites I can use for research?

where can I find some scholarships or aid? I have looked everywhere, but the person in the military must be active, killed, injured, etc.

I am having a very hard time finding a basic education grant/scholarship because I am not a minority, not gay/bi/lez, not going into business, etc. I do receive a Pell grant, but that's it.

My father filed for a divorce a few months ago and the divorce is finalized. The only problem is: she was never served or knew anything about the beginning of the process. The server lied, and my father lied about everything. We are contesting the conditions and don't know how to prove she, or anyone else ever received the papers. Nobody signed for them and only the two of us live here, but somehow with no answer given they are legally divorced. How can I prove anything?

I downloaded furniture and put it in the game with no problem, but the skins and clothes will not show up. These are the same files that I have put into my game and my friends' many times.... any clue?
