Affordable alternative to an ACOG?
I had an ACOG on my M4 when I was in the Army and used it many times in Afghanistan and absolutely loved it. Then I was absolutely shocked by how expensive it is, but obviously it is very high quality.
Basically I'm looking for a similar sight that is under $500. My favorite features was the power of the scope, the small compact size, and that the cross hairs were lit up by natural sunlight, no battery required.
Any suggestions?

I am looking at buying a rifle through GunBroker.com and am finding very negative reviews about it across the internet. I know you it depends on the seller and their ratings, but it seems that gunbroker doesn't do anything to curb bad sellers? Don't want to spend $1300 and then get ripped off. If you have used them before, Id love some opinons.

December 8th is Pearl Harbor Day and all flags in the country are suppose to be flown at half-mast. My flag is mounted onto the side of my house in a bracket at a 45 degree angle and has no way to be adjusted, what would be the proper way to fly my flag?

*I know this isn't a military question, but no one answered my question when I put it in the civic participation category.
