So I can't remember the details leading up to this point, but in the dream a guy I know (acquaintances) said, "I've been trying to get to know you. Why can't you give me a chance?" I remember feeling bad and said, "Okay, I'll go on a date with you." We hadn't gone on the date yet throughout the dream as far as I remember, but one of our mutual friends came up to us and said "Yay! Why didn't you guys tell me?!" I didn't understand how she knew, and that was basically the end of what I can emember. For background, I've only had an actual conversation with this guy a couple times outside of saying hi and bye. In reality, I would never go on a date with this guy, so I'm sure there's no subconcious meaning from this that I like him. If anyone could help me how to interpret this dream, it would be much appreciated!

So there's this guy. We're in fairly close proximity of each other a couple times a week. He knows my name, I know he does because whenever I initiate conversation or he says hi or bye, he says my name (I only notice because no one I know ever does this). However, sometimes he'll "forget" my name and even stutter out a shorter version of it or something. I don't even have a long, difficult to remember, or obscure name!

What's his angle? I'm just really confused.

I have not yet been accepted to the program I have applied for. What would the appropriate measure for thanking the people who wrote recommendation letters for me?

- a teacher I was not personally close with

- a past advisor who knows me fairly well (but is out of state for the time being. I don't know his address)

- a teacher who I am currently taking another class from, we have a closer teacher-student relationship than the previously mentioned teacher

- a pastor whom I see and speak with every week at church

I'm thinking a thank you email for the first one, but I don't know about the rest. Should I buy them gift cards or is a hand-written card sufficient enough? Should I wait until I have been accepted to thank them?

The application deadline for a program I want to apply for is coming up soon, and I need recommendation letters. The thing is, one of the teachers I was hoping to get a letter from is on sabbatical leave for this entire quarter. However, the professor is not out of town, in fact she's still around campus. She put a poster on her office door stating that she is on a sabbatical but also left her contact information. Would it be rude of me to call or email her to ask if she would be willing to write me a recommendation letter?

So I have this friend who I met last year, Adam. He is pretty close to one of my close friends, and I straight up told my friend that I do not want a relationship and that I do not like Adam because I was starting to feel vibes that he was interested in me. We have a ton of mutual friends and some of them randomly mention him saying that he's a nice guy. Obviously they wouldn't say this unless he asked them about me or asked them to tell me things about him, something along those lines. We have only talked a few times in person, and even then it's very brief but he is determined to hang out with me, constantly proposing hangouts. I just don't understand why he's interested in me when he does not even know me. How do I get him to stop? I feel mean if I ignore his texts so I respond but I try not to keep the conversation going because I don't want to lead him on. Is it wrong for me to keep talking to him when I know that he's interested in me? I don't know how to deal with this.

So in at least one dream a week (that I actually remember when I wake up), there's this guy that I used to like (but never told him, or anyone, and I never made it obvious), and apparently liked me too (heard from one of his friends), that is in them. In my dreams, his back is almost always facing towards me, or he avoids me. However in one dream, he actually came up to me and shook my hand, but what was weird is that he didn't talk at all, and that the handshake felt extremely real, as if I were actually shaking his hand in waking life. In real life, I see him around school sometimes, but I haven't talked to him in a long time; a little more than half of a year. I thought I already accepted the fact that we'll probably never talk again, but he keeps appearing in my dreams! Any thoughts on what this may mean?

I wash my face twice a day with Clean&Clear Morning Burst Oil Control face wash and St. Ives Green Tea Scrub (night).

I moisturize right after. The area around my mouth and nose are really sensitive to most facial creams (the areas end up stinging), and the only thing that doesn't sting that area is Cetaphil moisturizing cream for dry sensitive skin. For the rest of my face I use Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer. It leaves my face a bit oily so I use oil sheets after that.

Then, I put on Laura Mercier primer. I don't really love this primer, but it's not bad. It works, until like two hours later. I've also tried NARS, Ulta, Korres, and MUFE (all oil free). I liked the Ulta, NARS and MUFE ones but the same thing happens - two hours later my makeup looks like absolute crap. I wait for it to dry, and then I put on concealer.

Normally I use MUFE camouflage concealer, but I've run out so I'm just using whatever I have which is called something like Maybelline Minerals concealer. It works pretty well.

Then, I apply MUFE HD Foundation. I use a brush to apply, and I don't apply too much. I just dot it on my forehead, chin, cheeks, and nose, applying it in small circular motions.

Normally I wait a few minutes and then put on MUFE HD microfinish powder, but I've run out so I use some Maybelline Minerals finishing powder instead.

After doing all of this, my face looks great, but an hour or two later, I look like absolute sh1t. Same result happens even if I use the MUFE items in place of the Maybelline items. It like melts off and also sticks in the creases around my mouth and the areas around my nose. Also, I have acne and it becomes more noticeable after the hour.

I drink a lot of water, I take my vitamins, and I eat fairly healthy. Help me please!

I'm getting my wisdom teeth examined and most likely pulled tomorrow morning, and I also have xc practice in the morning a few hours before, should I still go to practice? I know that you're not supposed to eat/drink 8 hours before the surgery, and I was also wondering if I would have any energy to do the workout (since i normally eat an hour before we run).

my dad had this dream, i won't go into entire detail of it but it was of me and my dad were at a hospital to see someone's baby because someone told us to go or something (no one we know is pregnant), my sister and my mom were in the car, one of my uncle's was also there. the lady turned out to be a very old co-worker of my dad from a long time ago, and she had a caucasian baby, but she was of african descent, and no one knew who the father was. some other stuff happened, we walked out of the hospital looking for the car but it was gone. i told my dad that we should just walk, he said it'll take a long time, but i said that they're not coming back, so we were walking, and one of us got ahead of each other (i forgot what my dad said), and i was walking up to the edge of a cliff, tipping slightly forwards and backwards like i was going to fall off, oh and while walking, there were three dogs following us, and my dad was going after me, but one of the dogs that was big and black (i asked him what kind and he said he wasn't sure.. kind of looked like a retriever or something) grabbed the front upper chest part of my shirt and pulled my away from the cliff, and walked away (i can't remember if he said the dog stayed for second, looked at my dad and then left, or i'm just imagining that he told me that). my dad said that he felt afraid of what the dog might've done. then in the dream, he asked me something about ... hmm i can't remember, but he said that i said "oh, i'm just tired" (i am actually tired a lot of the time and say it a lot in waking life) in response, and then we continued walking home. he also said that i said "they're not coming back" again while we were walking when he suggested something.

okay, i think i got the gist of the dream down. what does it mean?
