  • A Piece Of My Molar Chipped Off?

What should I do? It doesn't hurt, and it only bled very slightly. It's a baby tooth as well, but it's not loose at all, so I don't want to pull it out before it's ready.

A lot of my teeth have been breaking off recently, actually. Like, for example, my bottom right molar literally broke off into 3 pieces before I pulled it out.

I think this might be because of the chemotherapy I used to be on? (I'm a teenager, but in remission for bone cancer). Idk for sure, but I know that it kills off a lot of different cells in the body besides cancer cells, so could it have possibly weakened my teeth? They weren't like this before.

    Anyway, thanks in advance! :)

  • Do They HAVE To Go Through The Ribs To Remove A Lung Tumor?

Because I seriously do not want them going through my damn ribs. I have enough problems with bones without my lung surgeon cracking my goddamn ribs open.

And my surgeon also said he's going to FEEL around for the tumors. What the hell that means, I don't know. Does that mean he's going to use his HANDS? Because wouldn't it be easier to just put a couple of instruments and a camera through an incision to remove them?

I had the RSV virus a few weeks ago and they did a bronchoscopy by going down my throat because I've had an unrelenting cough for weeks. Couldn't they go down the throat for this surgery, too? Seems a hell of a lot easier to me.

Sprry, I'm just pissed. My surgeon said he's going to be inserting a pain catheter, sort of like an Epidural they give to women during childbirth for pain relief.

The cancer I have is metastasized osteosarcoma, if that even makes a difference. The bone tumor has already been removed via limb-salvage.

I'm 14, though I don't think age would matter when it comes to this.

  • Why Was My Pup's Teeth Extracted During Spaying?

My six month old Yorkie/Maltese mix was spayed last week and I am wondering why they had to extract her baby teeth?

Was it important for the procedure (I don't see why it would be), or was it just because it would be easier if she lost her baby teeth now? They only pulled out the bottom 2 front teeth and the K9s next to it.

I heard that Yorkies can maintain their baby teeth for a long time, and since my pup is part Yorkie, is that the reason why?

  • Anyone Else Sick This Christmas?

I am. I don't even know what I have ... I have a wide variety of symptoms, mostly caused by cancer treatments, I think.

I'm running a mild fever. I have abdominal pain, diarrhea, mouth sores, a cough, fluid in my lungs, fatigue, a stuffy nose, and a headache.

I hate it, so much ...

I'm not afraid of them, but I hate them. I get too many injections regularly to be afraid of them. :/

  • Is My Dog Obese?

She is a Beagle mix, and she weighs close to 55lbs. I am not sure what other breed she is mixed with, but presumably a big breed? We don't feed her more than the daily recommended intake for a Beagle.

Maybe a few treats every now and then, but nothing unhealthy. The last time we fed her human food was in November, when we fed her the Thanksgiving leftovers.

  • Soul Eater - Is Crona A Male Or Female?

I've never been able to figure this one out. In the manga, "it" seems more female, but in the anime, "it" seems more male-ish to me ...

Has it ever officially been announced? What gender do you prefer to think Crona is, or do you know for sure?

Maybe "it" is just androgynous ...

  • Returning To School With Cancer?

Okay, so, basically, I'm 14, and I have cancer. I have osteosarcoma nodules in both of my lungs. The primary tumor was in my left femur, but it was removed and no traces of cancer are there anymore.

I'm in eighth grade, so I'm in middle school. And let's face it, most middle schoolers are judgemental, uneducated a**holes. There's classmates on Facebook asking me if it's contagious and "how I look," rather than "how I feel." Very clearly, they don't want to be seen talking to a bald girl, or a girl with a very long, noticeable scar on her leg ...

I've had friends come over, and all they do is talk about the leg. I even had one friend refer to me as "disabled," because I'm stuck with using crutches right now while I regain the strength in my leg, and I DO NOT want to be called that.

I don't want people talking or asking about my cancer at school. They literally understand NOTHING. My best friend asked me if I'd ever be able to walk normally again ... CLEARLY, if they're making me do physical therapy, that's one of their goals.

I can't have a social worker come and talk, because I go to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee ... I don't live in Tennnessee. I live another state away.

My immune system is compromised as well, but I don't want to wear a mask to avoid getting sick. It's dehumanizing, in my opinion, and I already have enough reasons for classmates to tease me without a mask being one of them.

In essence, how to avoid ignorant a**hole classmates?

  • How To Handle Chemo Fatigue?

    Hey.

I'm asking this because this has simply become UNBEARABLE. I feel like I want to sleep the entire day. My eyelids are always heavy, like, I just want to shut them for a couple years. :/

I can't exactly "take a walk," because I recently had limb-sparing surgery in the leg to remove a bone tumor. In doing this, they replaced my left femur bone with a metal rod. I'm still recovering from it ...

Anyway, any suggestions? Like foods I should eat? Thanks.

    I'm 14 if it helps.

    I doubt it, though.
