If being gay were a choice, why would anyone choose to be gay?
It would be such a terrible one to make for countless reasons.
1) You would face discrimination everywhere.
2) You wouldn't be able to marry who you fell in love with.
3) You wouldn't have the "right equipment" for "pleasure."
4) You'd have to listen about people rant about how you're going to Hell all the time.
and many more.
In all seriousness, if being gay were actually a choice no one in their right mind would chose it because it's just so much easier to be straight.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFor those voting for Barack (and no one else) is it important to you that he's 50% black?
Would you rather that he be 100% black?
15 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy doesn't anyone ever talk about how Obama is white, even though he is exactly as white as he is black?
He's also Dick Cheney's cousin.

Do you think it has anything to do with marketing him as black, so that he can sell his "change" better than he could if it was widely know that he's actually very white too?
15 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy are you voting for McCain?
This is a serious question and I only want replies from people who plan to or already have voted for John McCain for the Republican nominee. Thank you.

6 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoWould you vote for Jesus for President of the USA?
His platform:
Love thy neighbor as thyself:
He would be extremely tolerant of all people, minorities, gays, and Muslims included. I would expect that many non-religious liberals would support this position but the majority of religious Christians would find it foolish.
Anti-War:
Jesus preached reconciliation and would never harm anyone. He would end the war in Iraq. Again it seems that most religious Christians would disapprove and believe Jesus would not protect their security from the Islamofascists making him a weak candidate, certainly less admirable than a Mitt Romney or Rudy Giuliani.
Communal living:
Jesus practiced communal living and encouraged others to donate their worldly possessions and do the same. Even most liberals would have a hard time swallowing true communism. Religious Christians would call him an "insane commie" and think he's the most reprehensible candidate running.
40 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhen does human life begin?
I challenge anyone to disprove that human life begins BEFORE conception.
Read that carefully, as I guarantee you that you've probably never heard anyone make that statement before.
17 AnswersBiology1 decade agoWhy do you think that people who believe in evolution think "humans evolved from monkeys"?
Any person who has even a limited understand of evolution understands that humans didn't evolve from monkeys. They are distant relative in the primate order, and NOT direct ancestors. So why do you always claim that we believe this, when we certainly don't?
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhere did all the people from Nod come from?
Seems a bit suspicious that the Bible outlines the first 2 families in great detail, but it seems a bit suspicious that despite being the from the 2nd generation of humanity he found a city that was already heavily populated, doesn't it?
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHey Jehovah's Witnesses did you know that scholars have learned the correct pronunciation is closer to Yahweh?
So why don't you realize that the name of your church comes from poor scholarship and change it to Yahweh's Witnesses?

19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat if Constantine had chosen a new religion other than Christiany to make the offical religion of Rome?
Would the world have a different major religion in place of Christianity today? Would Christianity even still be practiced?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy doesn't it bother you that Ronald Reagan sincerely believed that "trees cause more pollution than cars"?
Or that he thought that all the nuclear waste created in a year would fit underneath his desk? Or that the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens made more pollution than all the cars in the US do in a year?

13 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoDo you believe in Satan? If you do how can you be a monotheist?
If you believe that Satan is an actual being and is both immortal and endowed with unnatural powers how can you rightly say you are a monotheist believing in only one god?
